Even though I have used this type of test earlier, this one is very different. Question types capture changes developed based on work experiences also.

Very well explained regarding personality traits

'Know thyself' has been a life long avocation for me and am delighted to say that the StrengthsFinder is a superb tool to do that. As a 40 something senior Marketing honcho in a globally recognised engineering giant I had always been faintly aware if where my inclinations naturally lies but I never saw them as strengths to be leveraged, honed and actively used for navigating the career. Since perusing the book and using the online tool my life has changed. I have been able to join a work group that uses the best of my abilities. I am doing work that's phenomenally meaningful both to me and my company. Frankly, I am starting every day again with a song on my lips and a new spring in my step. Definitely recommended!

This book is only for one time use. If you are interested in identifying your Top 5 strengths you can use the code and identify them from the online test and then read about those five strengths from the second half of the book. You can unlock all your strengths upon payment of some extra bucks to Gallup, but if you are satisfied with your top 5 then only 10% of the book will be useful for you. The remaining part of the book will be useless since you will probably not be interested in exploring strengths that you don't have in you. You cannot even share this book with anyone else because the code is unique and they will not find it useful unless they take the online test. My mentor at my organization who is guiding me in my career goals told me that the Top-5 strengths are enough to focus on and you need not unlock the remaining.

Details each of the personality traits for better understanding.Cons:1. I purchased this book as a gift for testing purposes for someone, but the access code is missing. I have reached out to Amazon for assistance and have faced some challenges. Initially, I was informed that a refund would be processed, but now I’m being told that this is no longer an option.

In a society that is constantly asking you to work on your areas of improvement, never going back to how you can capitalize on the strengths you already have, this book comes to the rescue as a knight in shining armor.What a great way to move ahead without having your shortcomings block your path to success.Great read.
