I realized that our stopper mechanism had deteriorated to the point where the stopper no longer stayed on the rod. This was exactly the right size and was super easy to install. Works perfectly now

Pivot Rod Assemly Kit Fits After Adjusting Rod Length that inserts into pipe. New rod pipe insert end was too long and would hit the opposite side pipe wall, so I cut off about 1/4 inches. After adjustment, the pivot rod assembly kit was installed and worked properly to raise and lower stopper with no leaks. Also, cap had the same number as the 30 year old original, 14606. It was the same size and fit onto original pipe. Ball and o-ring appeared to be the same size. I would buy again if my other sinks developed the same leak. Thanks to the other reviewer who mentioned the 14606 number on cap.

Worked great. One caveat - doesn't come with a Clevis Clip. Make sure you have one.

We have Moen faucets in our house we built in 1998. We have called Moen in the past and gotten free replacement parts under their lifetime warranty. This is the second pivot rod that has rotted and failed, but they are 26 years old. I did not call for this, so I don’t know if they will cover it. Their warranty for life is only if it was installed by the builder of the home, others have a limited warranty. But if you can’t get it from them, this is the one! I was afraid to get one of those “universal” ones and this was no more money for the actual Moen part. Easy to install and fit perfectly as you would expect from the name brand. I have no complaints about Moen products and this supplier got it to me next day. Saved me from a trip to the plumbing supply and cheaper than Lowes or HD!

This was perfect for what I needed when the pivot rod on our Moen Faucet broke due to old age and rust. Absolutely perfect fit from what I had taken out. Very easy to install, great instructions, and more importantly, no leaks, and the stopper works again. Super happy for this easy fix, at a great price. Highly recommended!

These tend to corrode after a couple of years making the sink stopper inoperable. This says it is chrome coated brass so hoping it lasts a little longer.

As others have commented, it is hard to find Moen sink replacement parts for sinks installed 20-25 years ago. This replacement pivot rod works perfectly in those old Moen sink drains. Easy to install, works like a charm. Keep your old "clip" as this package doesn't include one, other than that, exactly what was needed.
