To use this fudge sauce you do need to scoop some out with a spoon and put it in a microwave safe bowl, the microwave for a few seconds until liquified. Then it is quite easy to pour on top of your favorite ice cream or dessert. This does have a little Chocolate Liquor in it so caution is advised. :) We had no problem eating a few spoonfuls on our ice cream. Next up I'm going to try making a banana split! I store this in the refrigerator as it has all natural ingredients like heavy cream. So if you are looking for something special and gourmet, this is great! I'm going to try the caramel topping too! 12/15/2023 - Tried the Bourbon Caramel sauce and it sure is dark brown sugar delicious! Scoop out some sauce and heat it in the microwave for just a few seconds until it liquifies. Then you can pour it over your ice cream. Goes great with vanilla ice cream for sure!

I bought this topping before and loved it. But this time around it wasn't the same, and I didn't care for it.

UPDATE: Paradigm reached out to me, and the issue was resolved. So 5 star on service for Paradigm. I honestly feel like the issue could be with the Amazon warehouse where these are shipped from. I am not sure if they are exposed to a heated environment, or what. Because as stated previously, this is not the first time an order from the warehouse was delivered with a compromised seal (my last order was for a conserve where all jar lids had already popped and were leaking). I love Paradigm products. I use them all of the time in baking and cooking. It was disheartening to receive this jar with the seal already compromised and no option to return it. Won't be purchasing this product via the Amazon option again. Going to try ordering direct from the manufacturer or the store. It's not Amazon's fault, it's however this is being stored. I have had the exact same thing happen with another baking product that is a sauce/jam, it came with a lid popped on several shipments.

I don't understand any reviews that don't give the Brown Butter Caramel Sauce five stars. 30 seconds in the microwave makes it easy to spoon onto ice cream, bananas or my favorite - bread pudding. You can also soak the jar in a warm bath of water. Flavor is intense, sweet and complex. This sauce made my blah bread pudding "restaurant-worthy". It's heavenly.
