So this gorgeous thing just arrived
I've had a few tektites before, of unknown provenance. They were very nice specimens, but this one is special, and remarkable. Not only does it come from a notable and reclusive region (Tibet), the size shape and texture are pretty cool!

Impactites are glass not metal and that's OK. Know what you're buying. Nice size.
Tektites are not ferrous metal. They are glass made on Earth as a result of a meteorite impact, hence the word impactite. They cannot be verified as real by a magnet test!!! They also are NOT heavy - glass is far less dense than nickel iron. A simple Google or AI search will verify this. The Indochinite piece I received is very nice and looks just like pieces at major museums and universities I've visited. I have no idea what energy anyone is referring to. It's a piece of glass like an old Coke bottle but black in color like Obsidian. Glass has no energy. It's not even from space. It's formed by the energy released during impact from a space meteorite. They are not meteorites themselves. Also see Libyan Desert Glass and Moldavite impactites. Be careful with the moldavites. Many are indeed fake green glass. The certificates of authenticity are just as fake.

RIP off
It's a worthless rock. Magnets do not stick to it. The rock doesn't feel heavy than it looks. 2 simple tests you can do to tell if it's real or not.

Authentic!
You can feel the energy immediately when touching the stone. It is too thick in the center for the light to come through but the sides allow for it. It is authentic!
