You Will Love This Tuner (If it Fits Your Guitar)
The D'Addario PW-CT-15 tuner is barely noticeable on my guitar, so I leave it installed for immediate use any time. It works great, because it's easy to read from the player's position and is more accurate than a headstock tuner. My guitar sounds better than ever when I use this tuner. I'm glad I wasn't scared away by the negative reviews posted by some users. Here is my take on the issues they raised: (1) Guitars come in all shapes and sizes. This will fit most, but not all. Before buying the tuner, make sure that the clip will fit on the wood around your sound hole. For example, it might be too snug if you have an extra layer of reinforcing wood around the underside of your sound hole or a thick pick guard very close to the hole. A flat area up to 6/16" from the edge of the hole and up to 2/16" thick should be fine. Some reviewers reported that the clip was too loose for them, but the current model has a metal spring that should hold the tuner in place on thinner tops. (2) Guitars also have different bracing patterns. Make sure yours has room for the tuner between the hole and the bracing. You need space for the shape of a triangle with the corners cut off about 1-3/8" wide (accross the hole) and about 3/4" deep. For example, in the Taylor line, it fits my Grand Auditorium guitar with X bracing, but it might not fit in a GS Mini or anything with V-Class bracing. [UPDATE: I got a new guitar and can confirm that it works fine on a Taylor GA with V-Class bracing if you put it in the 7:00 position instead of 6:00. You can still reach the power button and see it fine.] (3) Press the metal release tab to take the battery out without breaking the plastic tabs that also hold it in place. The manufacturer's video shows this clearly. (4) Install and remove the tuner carefully to avoid breaking the clip. This is easy to do, as shown in the manufacturer's video. For me, this is a fabulous upgrade at a very reasonable price.

A MUST HAVE for your acoustic guitar!
Extremely low profile tuner is an absolute must have. Perfectly located in line of sight and visible through strings. Its always there and isn't the eye sore that clip ons are. I have one on my Taylor and its absolutely amazing. Doesn't affect the tone of the guitar at all and it is secure so I'm not worried that it will fall off (or in). Bright enough to be seen in any light, super accurate and easy to use. Just turn it on and let it do it's thing and for a great price. Get yours before they get smart and start charging more for these. Seriously, anyone with an acoustic guitar with a sound hole needs one of these. Period!

Works with Taylor GS Mini if you position it correctly
Wanted a dedicated tuner for my Taylor GS Mini, and considered one of the types that installs into the side of the guitar body. Not really needing a preamp, I decided to look at other options and decided to try this. Tuner is small and lightweight, but it seems to work well. At first I didn’t think it would work with my GS Mini due to the style of the bracing. After playing the location of the tuner, I found it fits well in the 2 o’clock position in the sound hole, and it’s still easy to use. Assuming it holds up over time, this is a great little tuner for my guitar.

See how inconspicuous it is.
Seems like a good value. The accuracy is as precise as you could want. It is very low profile so it will not detract from the guitar. Only bone to pick was lack of any rudimentary instructions. Not that it is complicated. The battery did not snap shut after removing plastic from the negative side of battery. I wrapped a small piece of electrical tape around batter holder. I would recommend this tuner. Perhaps with instructions more care and a YouTube video you could avoid my problem

Best guitar player gift
This works perfectly and is so hidden, it’s perfect.

Very nice tuner option!
Love the position and ease to see. I don't like covering up the beautiful headstock inlay I have on some guitars with a small ugly tv dish on the end of my nice guitars! Negative is that often they need the perfect position because sometimes it doesn't want to pick up the low E (6th) very well. The only other problem is that outside on very sunny gigs it can be a little hard to read. That said, I like them very well have four of them.

Pretty Dope.
Solid. Getting one for my top 3 acoustics and plan to leave them on. I don't think it will it will do anything to my Gibson's nitro finish (I sure hope not, fingers crossed)! Don't know how I hadn't heard/seen these earlier. Great, simple solution if you hate the look of a tuner clipped on your headstock, especially if you're a guitar snob like myself! I want the headstock to be legible and look nice & clean in videos as well. This little tuner does the trick! 5 stars. It's even smaller than I thought it'd be when it arrived.

So much potential; and yet here we are.
I was so excited to receive and use this product. I was tired of fighting background noise to use tuning apps on my iPhone and I didn’t like the look of a headstock tuner. This one is sleek, tiny, bright enough to see in the dark and stays in place well. I haven’t had it fall into the soundhole of my Epiphone or had the clip holding it in place break yet, so I consider that a win. The idea of a soundhole tuner is awesome. This one needs some major upgrades in order to truly be great. The clip looks like if you breathe on it too hard it’ll fail and become unusable. I am really afraid to take the tuner out to change the battery, even though I would like to in order to solve the issue I’m having. I wish there were a battery cover of some sort. It sort of bugs me having the battery exposed like that, even though it’s inside the guitar. This tuner seems to be less and less accurate as time goes on. I will try replacing the batteries and see if that resolves my issue, but I have no idea what’s going on, and don’t really understand why I’m having this issue. It’s reading my 6th string (E) as a B and reading my D string as a G. I’m now checking the reading on this tuner against the very apps I was tired of relying on. You know how in the photos, when your string is tuned correctly, the display turns green? Yeah, mine doesn’t do that. Like at all. So when I’m tuning, I just aim to get two little lines on either side of the note I’m tuning to. Those little lines remain blue, they never turn green. I…would not purchase this item again. I would just get a headstock tuner. For the price, it’s a good item to try, but I don’t think it’s a viable option long-term.

Accurate, discreet, and so convenient I now own four
I’ve put these D’Addario NS Micro Soundhole Tuners on four of my acoustics because they’re that good. They’re tiny, stay hidden inside the soundhole, and don’t mark the guitar. Most importantly, they’re accurate — I compared them to my Peterson strobe and the results were impressively close. They’re always ready when I pick up a guitar, easy to read, easy to use, and switching them on and off is effortless. I check tuning every time I play, and these make it instant. Battery life seems solid so far. A brilliant little tuner that just works.

Great Tuner, works and looks like it was part of the guitar from the factory!
It works great, feels like it was factory installed and is all but invisible. SO much better than having a bulky clip on tuner on the headstock, falling off, getting lost, left at home when you need it at a gig. This thing is great. If there was an improvement I would suggest that the screen be a bit bigger and a bit brighter. You have to get the viewing angle just right to see what you are doing. But I would recommend this product for sure.

Bon produit

Nice and discreet.
Nice and discreet. It will make you look like as if you are tuning by ear. lol Quick and precise tuning. The only nitpick I can think of is, it's not so tightly clamped to your soundhole and you might accidentally flick it off while strumming hard.
