Great for Chai Green
This spice is exactly what I wanted. I make iced chai green tea by the pitcher. Flavor was spot on. Buying tea bags was expensive. This is easy to steep in pot, add matcha let cool and poor over ice. Great with vanilla protein shake for an added bonus. I will purchase this again and again. Hope it's just as good warmed during winter. I like I can adjust amount of flavor. Not real spicy. Flavorful though. I purchased another brand at same time. Very heavy cardamom flavor. The Rani meets my needs. Yummy!

Delicious
The flavor it really nice; it provides a nice relaxing hot drink at the end of a hectic day. Although there are a few steps in creating this relaxing drink, it's certainly not hard. One teaspoon is the perfect amount to create the flavor that I want. The only downside to this product is that the spices don't dissolve completely so there is a small amount of residue at the bottom of the mug...just don't drink the last little sip; otherwise this is a great option for Chai tea. Highly recommend.

I drink this every morning.
Very good blend. I've made my own masala for years, but this is what I drink from day to day. Consistently good quality and flavor, affordable price and good value, plus it's a lot more convenient than making my own all the time, and less expensive. Oh, and delicious!

Tea masala.
Almost as the taste I looking for. The aroma was great. One of my friends said she likes my tea because of its unique spice.

Solid product
The other reviewers were right - this product is heavy on the black pepper. However, this is way more cost effective than buying chai lattes at the corner coffee shop - and MUCH more flavorful. I use either a black tea bag when I'm in a hurry or do the whole shebang with loose black tea leaves when I have more time, to make a very delicious chai - hot or iced, that's way better in terms of flavor and aroma than the boxed kind. I wish there was more cardamom but that's an easy fix. Otherwise, very lovely product and helpful for anyone who wants to make chai that's better than the boxed kind but doesn't want to grind their own spices.

The perfect blend
I love tea and I also love the herbs/spices used for Chai so I purchased this and I am so pleased with this product. Now I can make virtually any type of tea (green, black, soursop and even senna) then add this spice blend to it. It has the perfect blend of spiciness to it, it was sealed to keep it fresh and it's so easy to just add a bit to get the perfect aroma and taste for a healthy cup of spiced tea.

Great Value
I use this stuff multiple times a day. I use one - or two - teabags depending on how "thick" I want my chai. I love the flavor. I wish it had a wee bit more cardamom (I add extra) - but ya' can't beat the price. I also use the spice mix to season yogurt (plus a dab of honey) and custards (I dusted some on a bougatsa with turbinado sugar and it was ethereal). Add black cardamom, saffron, and onion and you have the spice mix for a great (if ersatz) Shahi paneer. I'll probably add it to apple, pumpkin, or green tomato pies (or to the whipped cream). Would be great mixed into a fig jam and then smeared on Manchego. Next time I make (vegetarian) groundnut stew or mushroom stifado, I might mix some in with the usual spices (my stifado recipe already calls for pepper and cinnamon). Use it to make mulled (fortified) wine or cider. Lots of options.

Not so good, sorry
In early adulthood I lived in a Hindu village overseas, and later an Indian neighborhood in a large city in the U.S. I've eaten in temples, had chai in small cafes or sweet shops, and shared meals of native cuisine with friends from various locations in India. My family is well acquainted with the odor of toasted and freshly ground whole spices wafting from the kitchen. This product was purchased to save time, and so I was hopeful. I'm not sure if the product I received was old, as there was no printed expiration date on the packaging or container, but it did not taste good. I'm sorry. This spice blend has a dusty, flat, taste which made the tea taste musty and strange. We were not able to detect any cinnamon, ginger , anise , or cardamom notes, just an off sort of taste which is hard to describe, mixed with a little pepper. It was a sad revelation. Apparently to have good chai spice I must make from scratch .

Best Chai tea I had in a long time
Best Chai tea I had in a long time. Very tasty and it have that special kick I find so refreshing. To make it, I use the water for one big cup. put it in a pot on the stove. Add 1 bag of black tea, then some ginger and about 1 teaspoon or less of the chai mix. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes. Remove from stove and remove the tea bag and let it rest for 2 minutes. Most of the sediments will deposit in the bottom. Then slowly poor in a cup, leaving the sediments in the pot. Then I add milk and honey and it is ready for your enjoyment. Most of the recipes suggest boiling the milk and sugar with the mix, but by doing it separately you can enjoy your Masala Chai tea immediately. Otherwise you have to wait for it to cool before drinking it.

Peppery but Good Addition to My Tea
I use this as an addition to my loose leaf chai which I find does not have a strong flavour. I just add a little bit and it does a very good job of improving the flavour of my cuppa. This is a bit peppery so if you do not like that in your tea be careful of how much you use.

Tasty but might be a bit overpriced given its size
It is tasty, but really small. Fits in average adult's palm. Im surprised given its price cuz the ingredients do not comprise of expensive spices per se.

Excellent product
I have tried many chai tea brands over the years; it is my favorite morning beverage. This is the best I've tried so far. I don't have what you would call a 'delicate palate' - I like the spices to be really punchy, and this definitely is!! I added WAY too much the first time (but I still enjoyed it!), and even with a third of the amount it's still extremely flavorful, just delicious. This tub will last me quite a while, and it's much better and will cost me much less than the other teas I was going through. I will repurchase for sure.
