I was able to successfully connect the sensor device to the Smart Life app. It took several tries, yet it was successful.I set the app to message me when the door opens or closes. I verified multiple times the device is communicating to the App.I was able to successfully link the Smart Life app to the Alexa app in Skills. I was able to add the device to the Alexa app, named “Pantry.” When I open the pantry door, I can the device change state, Open and Close.I created a routine to turn on a light (my pantry light) when the device opens. A separate routine when the door closes. The intent is to turn on the pantry light on/off when the door opens/closes.The routine does not work. The door opens/closes, nothing happens. I verified the device is being recognized in the Alexa app, no issues. I continue to see the device repot open/closed as expected. However, the routine is not working.In my opinion, the device works as expected, the Smart Like app recognizes the device and acts accordingly. The issue, in my opinion the Alexa app has a bug.Working with Alexa tech support did not resolve the issue.Not sure what I am going to do at this point.

Good product for door activity detection. There is no audible alarm. Alarm or notification goes to the app on your phone. Occasionally goes offline but re-establish connection after a few minutes.

I set it up with the Tuya app I like that app to control all my devices. Then It connects with Alexa but, it will not work with routines, I set it up to turn the closet light on and then off and Alexa won’t do it. Very disappointing.

The sensor itself is great. Nice quality, easy to install, works as intended. However, the Smart Life app could use some improvement. Its lack of features is a major drawback to this product. Specifically, it does not have a feature that allows you to change the sound alert or allow for any other alert options. The current alert is too long and the sound is not what I would choose if I had the option. Overall, it works but is not optimal.

Installed on doors used by gardeners as they sometimes leave open or don't lock and wind blows door open. I now can tell if they've used those doors. Good system.

Long delay when switch is activated and light takes like 5 mins to turn on. My last action on the routine of the music after the action it takes about 20 secs to turn on the music. I am a bit disappointed. If you want this thing to just let you know that a door has open while you are out, I guess this would work. NOT HAPPY!Update: 2/4/21 - Contacted support and we could only get the routine trigger any device response time down to around 7 seconds no what device as like music or lights. I hope their cloud device isn't in China as I did register with the US. I may check what IPs this device may be connecting to. Just wish the device responded around 5 seconds quicker verses 7 or so. A LITTLE MORE HAPPIER

Very easy to install very easy to set up with Alexa. Nice and loud then all of a sudden about a week ago it just stop working I changed the batteries I reprogrammed still nothing I really like this product to bad it just stop all of a sudden so I just toss it in the garbage today still wasn't working. Is there away I can get in contact with the company for a replacement if I could

I ordered these to use for interior doors so I can keep track if my little opens the basement door. The instructions were a bit confusing, took me a few minutes to try and decipher what they were asking me to do. They want you to download the Smart Life app, then reset the sensor so you can pair it. I am currently using Verizon FIOS, their newest router. I believe my home is running 5GHZ wifi connection speed(it's in my mother in laws house) and I don't have the option to change any settings. It said it had two ways to connect. If the light was blinking rapidly or if it was blinking slowly. Neither way worked. I reached out to customer service, my request is in process currently but it appears they do not support the 5 ghz speed. I tried for about 20 minutes with both sensors and wasn't able to connect in either mode. I hope this helps!

Excelente funcionamiento

El aparato es bonito discreto cumple con lo que dice pero el módem tiene que estar muy cerca cuando mucho 1 metro de distancia, si no, la señal nunca llega y por lo tanto jamás envía la notificación. Por eso le doy 3 estrellas

Al mes se cayeron y ni siquiera me vibro el celular para reportarme que se separaron

Muy buen producto, tengo meses de uso y todo funciona perfectamente

Da la función te avisa cuando abren al celular al momento pero no funciona con alexa
