Top Quality Phone at an Unbeatable Price
What a fine phone this is. I like the feel of it in my hand better than competing products from Samsung and Apple. I had the original HTC One, and I have to say it was a slightly better looking phone - corners less rounded, stylish bevel on the edges of the screen, but this one is still handsome. Good features, not too much software bloat, and it connects effortlessly to my various streaming media devices (part from the Apple TV, obviously). Only slight niggle is that the volume rocker is a little too prominent, but a decent case can sort that out. There's very little about the new HTC One M9 that improves on the M8, some of the new features are even - arguably - a step backwards. Do yourself a favour and pick up this excellent phone before stocks run out and all those unsold accessories end up in landfill.

Great phone when it works!
Good:- speakers- build quality- HTC sense- battery lifeBad:- volume rockers- slippery back without case- I've had two of these - the first one the screen died, the second has been sent to HTC under warranty due to issues with boot-loop, screen flickering, volume rockers.Really like the phone I would give it a 4 except for the issues I've had with two of them, camera is a bit of a letdown too. You don't expect to get such issues with a premium phone.

Good second hand buy
Bought as a replacement for the much inferior Samsung s4.This has a superb screen and excellent resolution. Bought second hand but battery seems to power through a day of mixed use age. 16gb version is plenty. The case is metal and whispers understatedly...quality.This is for my son and should he not lose or break it I hope it will last him the year. He tells me itvis extremely responsive and that the camera passes muster.

Brilliant phone, great build, average camera
Great phone, well built, average camera unfortunately but great all round specifications. I could've gone for the Samsung S5 but after researching extensively I chose the HTC M8 and haven't regretted it. My previous phone was the HTC Sensation XL which was a flagship phone in its day , apart from taking a backstep with the camera resolution quality everything else about the M8 is an advancement.

No SIM detected
I upgraded from the previous version and like the improved battery life and various enhancements. However, after 2 SIMs replaced (for free) by my mobile carrier and 2 SIM trays bought separately, it still can not detect my SIM.A £500 phone should do better than that, so I will be returning it very soon.
