Our dog couldn't take the socks and boots that are more long lasting than these as were too thick. Tried everything and these are the best if your dog can't take boots/socks.Given 5 stars because under these circumstances they are invaluable to us. Make a huge difference to grip on slippy floors. But yes as others say due to their design, they inheriently don't last long at all. But invaluable when nothing else works

I bought a Size Large for my English springer spaniel. She is under 18kg and the guide says that Large is the correct size but they are too small to cover all the pads on her foot. She has vestibular disease and poor muscle mass in her hind legs. They definitely gave her better traction on our tiled floor. When they started to peel off I tried to remove them. They came off the pads of her foot easily but removing them from the hair growing between the pads was difficult. I had to put her in the shower and completely soak her paws to ease them off gently. I have ordered the XL and next time I will cut each paw protector into five pieces to stick on each individual pad and avoid the hair on her foot.

My dog has problems on most smooth surfaces (laminate flooring in particular), so I thought I'd give these a try,They're pretty easy to apply, and didn't seems to bother her at all. No sign of her being irritated with them stuck to her paws. As long as they're stuck they work a treat. She had much better grip and confidence walking round the kitchen.However they don't last long, mostly coming off after a few hours just indoors. Going outside and they last no time at all. Which is a shame.

These are good for reducing slippage on laminate floors. We have found them especially helpful for dogs with arthritic joints or tendon damage by stopping sideways slip of the rear feet.Our dogs seems to accept them on on their feet very well.We have found that they are best used slightly oversized as they wrap around the sides of he feet for better sideways grip.Advice would be, to trim the fur between the dogs pads to aid removal; ensure the paw is 'flat' before applying (ensure the paw is not 'curled' on application and so not restricting movement of the toes); pads will probably need replacing daily.Our dogs seems to accept them on on their feet very well and I'm sure they have saved us from some issues already.

They are not that gd I got two lots one for my big dog and one for my small dog they came of within a couple of hours

Bought these for my 15 Yr old Jack Russell as he has back problems and we moved to a house with laminate. These have stopped him slipping and he has no issue with them being applied. Tried socks first which caused sweating on his legs and made them sore. Would highly recommend these!

Pro - This is perfect for our old dog who struggles on smooth surfaces, would recommend cutting it up so that it can fit into small dog paws without sticking on furCon - slightly stickier than I would prefer but also does fall off after a day or two so we have to purchase a pack every two to three weeks

I have a 86lb 13 year old chocolate lab with large paws XXL fits like a glove perfectly. His paw pads are also a little bit rough over the years so the stickers actually stick better to a rough surface. He normally slip slides over my laminate wood floor lately it’s gotten really bad, my groomer recommended these and they are seriously life changing for him. My only complaint is that the front paws adhesive wear out fast. I live in very cold and wet eastern Canada and they don’t last very long in the snow or rain. I usually replace front paw stickers every 2-3 days and back paws last about a week, which isn’t bad. Honestly worth the money with the improvements ive seen. He doesn’t try to pick them off either. A must have to senior dogs.
