Arm & Hammer Dog Toothpaste, Puppy Peanut Butter, Enzymatic, 6.2 oz

Overview:We have been using this toothpaste on our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels since we got them as puppies. They are now 2 years old with excellent teeth and gums! We tried the adult toothpaste when they turned one year old, but they did not like the chicken flavor. They absolutely love the peanut butter flavor, and the baking soda really helps with their breath. Every time that I take them to the vet, they are very happy with their teeth and gum condition. The last visit, the vet scored both dogs’ teeth and gums and gave our female a score of 0.2 out of 4, with 1 being the best and 4 the worst, and gave our male a 0.3 out of 4. I usually brush their teeth every 2-3 days. Arm & Hammer is a name that I have grown up with, and I have learned to trust their products over the years. This toothpaste is no exception.Pros:The Enzymes break down the tarter, which keeps their teeth clean and gums healthy.The baking soda helps with cleaning and also keeps their breath fresh.I consistently receive positive feedback from my vets for both dogs’ oral care.The peanut butter taste is well received by both dogs.It is cost effective.Cons:None noticed with the peanut butter flavor, however, they do not like the chicken flavor as much.Conclusion:This is a high-quality product, at an excellent price. Even though this states that it is for puppies, they both really like the taste, and we have been so satisfied with the results that we have continued with this product and will do so as long as we see these results.

This is a dual review of the VIWIK 4Pack Pet Finger Toothbrush Dog Tooth Brushing Kit, and the Arm & Hammer Complete Care Enzymatic Dog Toothpaste, Peanut Butter Flavor.We have a four month old pup, and I wanted to get him started off right on his dental care. Also, depending on what he's eaten, his breath can be rather funky. I got these "thimble" type toothbrushes because I thought it would be easier than using a brush with a handle, and that seems to have worked out well for us. He's young enough that he is (almost) constantly trying to chew on our fingers or arms, so this is a natural fit. He resisted a bit the first time, but after a couple of times, he's a big fan. He apparently loves the taste of the toothpaste, and he enjoys me scrubbing around in his mouth with my finger brush. It's probably a bit of a dream come true that I'm actually sticking my finger into his mouth rather than getting on to him for trying to do it the rest of the time. The 'thimble brushes' are tough enough that even though he's chewing on my finger a good bit of the time, it's not at all uncomfortable for me. Finally, his breath really is better afterwards.Summing up - it's simple, our dog loves it, it only takes a couple of minutes, his breath is better, and hopefully, this will help keep his teeth in good shape.

Works well. I have been using it for over a month, my dog likes the taste and I can tell there’s less stain on her teeth. The oral smell improved as well. I will continue purchasing it on Amazon.

Absolutely love the size of this. Keeps my dogs teeth clean. Not really much for tartar. I'd get another flavor because the beef flavor makes my dogs breath smell like rotten meat rather than a fresh clean mouth. My vet said their teeth looked great and it wont help tartar unless you scrap it off..no toothpaste is gonna make tartar fall off but to help their hums and teeth stay healthy this is a good choice just not a fan of the flavor/smell...the dogs loved it though so theres that

Remarkable results! With only a few applications, I’m seeing the tartar disappear from my miniature schnauzer’s teeth. Admittedly she had very little tartar to start with, but I’m very impressed with this product. The peanut butter flavor must appeal to her, because I’ve had no problems with brushing her teeth. Introducing the process by rubbing her teeth with my finger and toothpaste before switching to using a small, soft, dog toothbrush.I’m expecting my little girls teeth will be tarter free for many years, by only spending a few minutes a day to brush her teeth. Plus it’s another opportunity to reinforce the trust between you and your dog.
