Very cute, engaging toy! My 4 year old loves playing with this toy, taking the dolls in and out of the doors. Having the keys attached is a thoughtful touch so they don’t get misplaced. This toy encourages imaginative play and also helps with fine motor skills with turning the keys and requires number recognition to match the correct key to the door. Very sturdy. The only thing my kids didn’t like is the words describing the toy are printed on the actual roof of the house but they just covered it with stickers.

I recently purchased the Melissa & Doug Wooden Doorbell House for my child, and it has been a big hit! The house comes with four colorful doors, each with its own doorbell sound and a lock-and-key set, which is a fantastic way to help kids develop their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. My child loves using the keys to unlock the doors, and the sound effects add an extra layer of fun. The figures included are sturdy and perfect for little hands, allowing for creative role-playing and storytelling. I also love that it’s made of wood, so it feels durable and can withstand plenty of playtime. One thing to note is that the compartments behind each door are a bit small, so it’s hard to store additional items inside, but it doesn’t take away from the fun. The only downside I’ve noticed is that the keys are a little tiny and can be tricky for younger kids to handle at first, but it’s something they quickly get the hang of. Overall, this is a great toy for encouraging imagination, problem-solving, and fine motor development. I highly recommend the Melissa & Doug Wooden Doorbell House if you’re looking for a fun, educational toy that will keep your child entertained for hours!
