Super great cable, works well.
This cable works very well with my Koss KPH-40 headphones. I love that it comes with the 3.5mm to 1/4” adapter. You should be aware however that the coiled cores really eats up a lot of the length; it’s maybe 5 feet to my computer at work, sitting sideways behind my monitor, and this cable isn’t much longer than needed, it’s “just right” for working at my desk and listening to Spotify or a Teams meeting that I don’t need to speak at. Also much easier than holding the phone to my ear for an hour, or bothering those around me while I listen to my dozen ethics classes every quarter.

fits my yamaha headphones.
I really like the fact that the smaller plug has the same twist-lock mechanism as my Yamaha headphones. Maybe this is an industry standard I shouldnt be surprised about but I am.This cord was just right for our families new Yamaha YDP-184 digital piano. Not sure why the Yamaha headphones I picked up separate from the piano had a 6 foot cord, but this cord is just right. Doesnt look too awful in our living room whereas the first cord was so big and messy.

expands on wrong end
The coil is on the wrong side of the wire. I don't need the stretch on the way from the computer, I need it near the headset to be useful. Really a shame, the product seemed like it was decent otherwise.

Works well so far
Got this cord for my Sennheiser HD 560S headphones. The cord that came with the headphones was a bit long and the 4 foot cord I replaced it with was just a bit too short for full reach at my desk area. This cord stays 4 feet long when I'm at the monitor and expands without yanking my headphones off if I have to slide over to check something on the side-desk/test bed. Sound is good enough. I'm not a super-audiophile, but I do love these headphones over the boom-y crap peddled for way more money these days.My only "complaint" is anticipation that the plastic end that goes into the 560S is not as robust as the metal end of the non-coiled cord I had before. Hopefully it'll last fine along with the rest of the cord. I'll certainly report back if it disintegrates anytime soon.

Cable is fragile
Worked well at first but the sound became unreliable after 3 months of use due to fragile wiring.

Did not come with adapter
This is advertised as coming with a screw-on adapter for the larger headphone jacks. It did not. All I received was the cord itself which terminates in the small headphone plug. Otherwise it's a good product. Fits my Sennheiser HD599s just like the OEM cable.

A weird success?
I want to start this review by saying that I had no idea what to expect with this product. I am not entirely sure why the shops name is 'LOL' nor why they have mostly children's toys for sale and then this completely random product. I fully expected to receive nothing or a completely non-functional cable. There were plenty of listings for 598 cables and I decided on this one despite what I said above because I am a huge fan of coil cables. I play violin and wear the headset when playing at times and the coiled cables are really nice for having a short, easy to manage cable while maintaining a longer length.Despite my worries, the cable came in completely undamaged and 100% working. The cable feels strong and the rubber is soft. The cabling isn't too thick or stiff and the coil isn't too tight or restricting. The lock works great and the sound quality was no different from my normal cable.Despite the surprise, i definitely suggest anyone looking for a 598 replacement cable or just one that is more friendly when playing instruments to get this one.

Freedom to move
I use this with open-backed headphones on a modest keyboard as I'm seated next to a computer. The keyboard has built-in speakers but they lack volume and sound like a toy whereas my Sennheiser HD598se's sound at my level of hearing and appreciation. I'm taking an online course that has me turning back and forth from keyboard to computer. With this setup, I can simultaneously hear my online instruction from my computer's Definitive speakers and my playing on my keyboard. The straight cord this replaces was getting tangled and pulling me up short. That doesn't happen with this cable. My dog gets tangled less often with this cable, as well.
