If I replace my matte screen with a glossy screen, can I still turn down the brightness?

I seem to recall the specs stating that is was essential to replace the screen with the same kind of screen. There may be more to the difference than just the appearance. I would therefore not recommend making such a switch without contacting the manufacturer.

How is the quality of the screen compared to OEM?

Had one dead pixel in the corner. No biggie for the price.

Whats the refresh rate?

When I bought it some months ago there was an option for 60hz or 120hz, but it seems like they stopped selling the 120Hz one according to their specs. So it may just be 60Hz, it's best to contact them directly.
