I researched this and I knew I have the correct micro as. Whenever I try to plug in the micro sd, it comes in crooked and it won’t read. Help?

You are probably turning it the wrong way. Try flipping it over and re-inserting it. Mine works just fine, but I noticed the micro SD card appears to be upside down.

Do either the sd or micro sd cards stick out when inserted, or do they fit all the way inside? do i need to remove them when not in use?

The SD card sticks out. Not sure about the microSD as I have not used the device with a microSD. I don't think it matters if you leave the card in the device or if you remove it.
