Simple to install, interlinking instructions not very good but easy once you watch a YouTube video

Danger to Life
I bought this product and installed it as per instructions. We had a fire in the room one of these detectors was in and, despite the room being filled with smoke, it failed to go off. It appears the battery has died in less than 6 months. This product is not safe. The device doesn't even bleep to warn of a low battery either. I have tried to get a replacement/refund but the seller is dragging his heels.

Comparability issues
The products were delivered safely. They would interlink with each other but surprisingly I could not link them with my Safetech AJ 763s which I assumed would link ok. Unfortunately had to return even though they were a good price

the battery life is just one year
The 10 year battery life is a lie. I bought this last April (2021) and now in April 2022 the battery is flat and both are buzzing. Rabbish

Poor quality
Bought two of these units which are interlinked, conforming to the new Scottish regulations. One failed after 34 days and I cannot get a replacement. Other brands will not work with this alarm, so both will have to go back.
