I bought this bag to replace a similar but smaller bag from a big name brand which I had used to carry my laptop and tools with me in the field as I move from one work site to another and it works very well. It is quite a bit more roomy than other backpacks I have used but not too big that it would be inconvenient to carry it off-site. I like that there are several pockets of different shapes and sizes so I have a place designated for the laptop and its charger, a different place for my clipboard and binder, and still more for various cables and attachments and gadgets. Almost all of the straps on the bag are adjustable so you can tighten or loosen them as needed. They are also padded on the inside which keeps them from cutting into your arms when it is getting heavy. The only disadvantage that I have encountered is that it can be difficult to remember exactly where you placed an item because of how many pockets there are; but that's more my own fault than it is the manufacturer's. The smaller included organizing bags are helpful to keep similar items together and the fact that they are mesh makes them see-through so you can easily identify what's inside without opening the bags. There is one zipper above and around the main backpack straps on the back of the bag which, by design, cannot be zipped. I'm sure this is just a stylistic choice by the designer and it doesn't interfere with anything, but to me it looks a little out of place...because I'm the kind of person who sees a button and I have to press it, so if I see a zipper I would expect to be able to zip it. At the end of the day I am happy with the bag because it works well and it feels good to carry.

This was exactly what I was after and exceeded my expectations. Perfect for a few nights away with ample room to squeeze in all I needed and still be small enough to fit as carry on luggage for flights. The extra bags came in handy for packing things neatly but also when my bag got searched it meant everything stayed together and I didn’t have to repack it all in departures. Very happy customer.

Ich bin wirklich begeistert. Genau so muss es sein. Die Fächer sind gut durchdacht, die Polsterung ausreichend, die Größe auf jeden Fall passend. Einzige Anmerkung ist, dass das Grundgewicht natürlich höher ist als bei einem simplen Rucksack. Macht aber nix. Ich bin froh diesen Reiserucksack gekauft zu haben.

Bought this backpack for a multi flight trip to avoid checking bags. I was able to travel light for 10 days and fit everything I needed for a sunny destination. I used compression bags to make even more room. The bag has straps that can be stowed inside so you can use the top or side handle without the straps. The front pockets have smaller pockets for cards, passport, and then also a padded pocket that can hold a laptop AND a tablet. The bag met the carry on size minimums for 3 of my flights.
