This really is a nice bowl!
I bought one of these bowls a week ago and liked it so I ordered a second. The size is perfect for a hearty serving of whatever you want to put in it, and it's a really lovely design that makes it pleasant to use. The weight is heavy, and it has held up well in the microwave. And because of the weight and thickness of the bowl, it holds its heat well. I made ramen soup first thing just to try it out and after about 3 minutes of nuke time, the water was boiled and the noodles softening. A few minutes later, I had nice soup. After that, I used it to reheat some leftover chicken shawarma, rice, and veggies. Only a minute in the microwave and my food was nicely reheated and not dried out. It's a pretty bowl, cleans easily, feels sturdy and is fun to eat out of. It seems to be of a good quality, and when I read that it was lead free, that was a deal maker for me. I like that I can cook in it and then eat out of it. Twenty dollars for a bowl is a lot these days, but I think it's going to be worth it.

Perfect bowl
Second ramen/rice bowl I've ordered from this seller and both arrived in perfect condition and in a timely manner. It feels like it's such good quality and so far they have lasted. I like having the bowl cover and that it's not plastic. It helps keep the noodles warm, and they can even be cooked in the bowl that way, if you want. It's a little on the large side, as far as soup bowls, but that part of why I love it. Lots of room without worry of spilling broth. 10/10 will order from again

overall a pretty good bowl
Its a good bowl, especially like the cover which keeps soups, noodles, rice, etc... warm. Deep and has a nice rim which keeps everything in. Haven't tested in out in the microwave yet but I think it would hold up. HOWEVER (even though this bowl isn't advertised as oven safe) I'd like to reiterate that people definitely shouldn't be putting this dish in the oven/exposing it to extreme temps!! I have both porcelain and stoneware dishes. Stoneware dishes are more durable in high temp/sudden temp change environments (pouring boiling water into a dish, putting a dish into the oven, etc...) because of the added moisture and electricity found in the clay (can expand easier under heat). After receiving this bowl, handling it, and having a few meals from it, I don't think this is a stoneware bowl (more likely porcelain or some commination of porcelain and another technique). Porcelain can still endure under high heat, but because it doesn't have that same moisture as stoneware, it will likely wear faster if you expose it to sudden temp changes/high temps (oven) and crack. Still a good bowl though and would definitely recommend!!

Exceptional quality and charm
This bowl and lid set is sold for ramen and is great for making instant ramen. It is also quite versatile as well as roomy, and keeps many other hot main dishes hot while being served. I have used these Whitenesser lidded bowls for soups, stews, chili, and many different types of casserole dishes. It can be microwaved safely, but I have never used my dishes in the oven.

Mostly Pleased With Bowls
We have a similar set of bowls but one of them was missing a lid. I've been searching off-line for some time trying to find bowls with lids as it helps keep contents hot while assembling the rest of the meal. These bowls fit what I wanted and the size is right on. The only issue I have with them is the lid is a little undersized for the bowl top and rattles around. I'm afraid they're going to chip so I store them with a paper napkin between lid and bowl.
