No. It doesn't. It's just a big smelly, greasy mess. With alopecia it's important to not clog the hair follicles. If used use at night with hair wrapped as it will stain pillows and wouldn't and abouis getting on face as you toss & turn. May also want to cover pillow with a thowel. Wash in the morning My jar is still in back.of cupboard. No way am I going through this regimen for any length of time.
