Good for the price

The clamp on base is cast metal, this was a nice surprise as I was expecting plastic at this price range. Very sturdy and holds my iPhone easily. After only a few sessions, I was able to figure out exactly how to get the most out of it. Easy to use and I think it will last well past this one semester of teaching I had planned to use it for.Main use: Overhead phone holder for Zoom demos. Use to make instructional videos for students.

J'ai achetée ce bras afin de m'en servir comme support et scanner de documents. Fais très bien le job, le bras est en métal, se règle facilement et est stable, l'ensemble est de bonne facture. Reste à voir avec le temps, notamment pour la pince qui tiens le téléphone et qui est en plastique.

Ich benutze diese Halterung, um Videos zu erstellen, auf denen nur zu sehen ist, was ich mit meinen Händen schreibe oder male. Das Handy muss also kopfüber halten. Und es funktioniert wirklich gut. Die Klemme sitzt sehr stramm, sodass das Handy nicht rausrutscht. Das Teil ist bei mir zur Zeit viel im Gebrauch, und bisher ist noch nichts ausgeleihert oder so. Es ist alles wirklich sehr stramm und stabil.Mein Handy ist mit Hülle 8 cm breit und passt so gerade noch rein. Die Klemme ist dabei aber schmal genug, sodass sie weder ungewollt auf Knöpfe drückt, noch die Sicht auf das Display zu sehr verdeckt. So kann ich noch sehen, was ich filme.Dabei ist das ganze sicher etwas stabiler als die Schwanenhalshalterungen, aber ein bisschen wackelt es schon mit, wenn ich am Tisch wackele, z.B. beim Radieren.Einen Stern ziehe ich ab wegen der Verschraubung am Tisch; um den Tisch vor Macken zu schützen, klemme ich immer Filzuntersetzer mit ein. Es befindet sich nämlich keinerlei Polsterung an dem Kunststoffteil, noch nicht mal eine Gummierung o.ä. Da könnte man noch nachbessern, finde ich. Aber ich denke, bei dem Preis ist das okay.

I have bought other similar mounts in the past but this is the first one I have purchased that includes a proper ball mount. Arm and clamp build quality are excellent, the same as the Neewer mic stand that I use. The arm ends in a standard screw mount so you can put a camera straight onto it that you need to. The phone clamp has screw holes in along both the short and long sides for maximum flexibility.
