I posted the review below when I first purchased this product. After having taken it for over a month, I can absolutely say it is the best! I have more energy without the jitters and can still sleep at night. And I've been losing weight while maintaining the same healthy lifestyle I've been doing. When I exercise, the weight is dropping even faster. I just feel all-around great. Again, THANKS for making a great product at a price I can afford. While researching MACA, this bottle and it's product description caught my eye. I was hoping to find a product that would relieve my hot flashes. I like the fact that it was pure with no bi-products and chemical ingredients I couldn't pronounce. It seemed the owners took full responsibility and pride in their product and stood behind it 100%. And the biggest seller was the price. I'm a single mom who doesn't have a lot of spare cash to be frivolous with. The price was reasonable unlike most of the other products from other companies that only the rich can afford. It's nice that there's someone out there willing to help the little people who want to be healthy also. I've only been taking the product for a few days now but I'm hopeful over time, I'll have great results. I've also been contacted numerous times by the company, making sure I'm satisfied with my purchase and making themselves available should I have any questions or concerns. I found this very appealing as we live in a time where it's hard to ever back from anyone. Thank you, Ryan and staff for all that you do.

I absolutely love the convenience of maca in a pill form. I also like that it’s a blend of 3 types of maca. ( In the past I have used powdered Maca and put it in my coffee, or smoothies.) I must say I’m glad I read the reviews and started with just one pill. I am on a particular medication that may have that MAOI interaction type of effect. That first dose did make me have some issues ~ like a flush, hyperness and possible heart palpitations. However , it was later in the day and I had already had at least 2 caffeinated ( aka black coffee) drinks. Next dose I made sure to take first thing in the morning, only have one caffeinated drink and space my ( depression/ Anxiety) medication far from it. Maju Maca in the morning and med at night. I haven’t worked my way up to more than one pill a day yet. But I am happy with the apparent energy and focus it provides. (( my powdered maca was excellent for libido, so far I haven’t noticed any big increase with this pill. But I’m not disappointed)) my advice ~Start small if you’re on medication. And perhaps decrease your caffeine. This gives enough energy without it .

I took this in hopes for energy and as a bonus an increase in drive. It definitely helped on both accounts. However, I began having chest pains, and occasionally in my jaw and arm. I suddenly had high blood pressure. I stopped it for a few days and I did not have the pains. I tried it again and had the chest pain again and shortness of breath as well. Turns out it acts as an MAOI and I had not idea. Unfortunately, I have been taking St. John's Wort for years and I suppose the two aren't good together. :( I have not taken the Maca root since and my blood pressure is low again and I have had no more chest pains or scares. I just miss the drive and energy...but it's safer for me not to take this.
