A good bike, some initial hiccups, and a good company
We purchased this bike back in November 2022 for our college-age daughter to ride from home to classes and possibly a job. It was eventually assembled after issues with that feature (not covered here). It looks good and appeared to run well.It lasted roughly 3 uses. The bike would not turn on. I checked the battery and it was dead. It had charged well over their 4-6 hour window with zero results. We contacted Amazon, but because we were past the 30 day window they wouldn't help. Then we contacted the seller. They wanted photos of the issue, which we sent. No solution. We requested a refund. They countered with a restocking fee and offered to send replacement parts. They wanted pictures of the battery voltage being checked, which we sent. Then we were told not to check voltage while charging (we didn't and the photo shows this). Bottom line: they are shifty. They don't want to return or refund anything. Maybe we're an outlier here, but I doubt it. I strongly suggest consumers look elsewhere. Buy local. It may cost more but at least you have a shop to handle problems (no one around here will touch it, since they don't sell these models). And I'm really mad because this is my daughter's college money being wasted here. I hope they lose sales as a result.Update (4/18/2023):Well, the poor review prompted some reaction. In messages back and forth with the company I explained that I would be happy to update my review of they would honor the manufacturer warranty, and supply us the replacement battery we requested. Well, they did! I was given a tracking number (which I checked, it was legit) and my daughter emailed me a photo when the battery arrived while I was at work). We charged it, installed it and her bike has been running fine. They even included links to videos showing some installation steps when I had a question. Now I watched a YouTube video on this very same bike and manufacturer that did not have a happy ending, so i was very worried that i was going to end up with an ebike that didn't work and a frustrated daughter, but these people stepped up (in my case) and took care if me as a consumer. I can't explain the other person's experience, but I wonder if, in my case, the language barrier really over complicated the entire experience: as a company they don't want to lose money and as a consumer I don't want a faulty product. At the end of the day, her bike is working, and that's the end result I wanted. I personally like the design and functionality of the bike. It does what it's designed to do.The company reached out to us to personally to apologize for the mistake, refunded us some money, and was very gracious in rectifying the problem. Now the bike works perfectly, and we are very happy with our product.

Awesome electric bike
Love this bike! Have taken it out multiple times with no issues at all. Slightly tricky to put together, even with the videos, but worth it for the price.

Battery doesn't work at all (UPDATED)
The bike itself showed up in pretty good shape. Itc was fairly easy to put together if you know your way around a bicycle. As someone else noted, the front bearing race was WAY too tight. It took a couple large wrenches to get it loose. The paint looked good. The tires look cheap, but held air.Unfortunately the battery doesn't work at all. The charger indicates that it's charging for about an hour, then the green light comes on, but the battery shows that's it completely dead.I contacted Vivi early Friday morning by email and at about 1pm received a message that they are closed for the weekend. The front brake rotor is also bentI'll update the review when I hear from Vivi and can actually ride the bike.UPDATE:On Monday the company responded with some advice, which was to turn the key on. That did the trick. I didn't see anywhere in the manual that this was necessary to check the battery charge, or that the lock had an "ON" position, that was the confusing part. The battery will blink red if you press the power button while charging in the "OFF" position. Anyway, the bike works now. Both rotors are warped, but the front is quite a bit worse than the rear. I rode it anyway, and it was super fun! Lots of power. I easily went up a decent hill with just the throttle. The build quality is similar to a Huffy, which is what I expected. The tires look cheap, so I ordered new tires and tubes. Overall I'm very pleased. The control system is a bit finicky. Even in low gear, the bike will give you too much power. Not great for assisting, but if you just want power, it's got it.The Shimano shifter is pretty poor quality, though it works. I had a hard time getting it tight enough to stay put on the handlebars.UPDATE (again):This bike is just too fast in its lowest setting to ride with someone on an analog bike. I'm working with Vivi to buy a controller and display that will hopefully make it useful for the family. If you just want to go fast, it can do that nicely.I also replaced the seat as others have talked about. It's terrible. Just plan on replacing it when budgeting for the bike.UPDATE: I replaced the rotor myself and there is now no squeaking from the front brake. Vivi wanted me to send pictures of the bent rotor. I don't thin they understand that a rotor could be bent and still look flat. Anyway, it was a pain, so delt with it myself. I'm pretty happy with the bike, it has lots of power. I just wish I could find a way to slow it down in its lowest speed. I wouldn't order one with the LED display again. It doesn't have enough adjustment in the controls.
