Q: What software is needed or best to view the cameras when setup as i have never done a cctv project before so want viewing app for pc and android.

This isn't too easy to do. You will have to use arduino to compile and load a camera app to the board, then you can access the camera using a browser from your own network. However, it isn't trivial to make it available outside the home. You can use Blue Iris to monitor the camera. Bear in mind it's crumby in light sensitivity compared to most security cameras and doesn't have the switchable IR filter they do either.

Q: The cameras are not labelled ov2640, and not 7670 either. looks like they say 1190. how do i know i have the correct camera? i cannot get video stream

Unfortunately the camera thing is a grey area. It is rare to find a description of the camera, standard or fish-eye, and I have had to order extra camera modules to do what i needed to do.
