Nice, but not 16 inch mounting size
It is nice and sturdy, but the 16 inch is not the mounting points distance, it is from one outer edge to the other! If you plan to use 16 inch studs for mounting, you’ll have difficulties!

Not for USA market
It says "16" towel bar rack." One assumes that the mounting holes are the standard 16 inches apart so that they can be mounted in the wall studs. WRONG! The total measurement to the outside edge of the mounts is 16". That leaves you 2 inches short of being able to securely mount this towel bar and also leaves you with a 14" towel bar if that matters. As the construction seemed sturdy enough, I pitched the box long before I attempted to make an install so was unable to return it. If you want a securely mounted towel bar, this one is not for those living in standard US homes where everything is built on 16" OC stud spacing.
