Best enjoyed with an audio interface/amplifier.
When I bought this for my use, I was a little underwhelmed by the sound. Sure, it was great - but not the mindblowing experience I frequently heard from other reviewers. It should be noted that at this time, I was still plugged into my laptop's audio jackHOWEVER, that opinion changed when I plugged these K240 mk2s into my audio interface's direct monitor jack - all thanks to the quarter inch attachment included in the box. I suddenly was blown away by the new dimension of sound I heard!GET THESE HEADPHONES!!! (If you have an audio interface or amplifier)For reference, my audio interface is the behringer u-phoria UMC22 interface.
