Owned this game back in the 80's and was delighted to find it again on Amazon. Similar to Yahtzee, but another level with the different coloured dice that brings more interest. Quick to learn rules, suitable for older children and adults. As others have said, you need your specs to read the score card as the print is so small, but free versions are easily downloaded from the internet, so don't let that stop you.

A good choice for fans of Yahtzee, as Kismet expands that game with the use of colors (1 and 6 are black, 2 and 5 red, and 3 and 4 green) to create different scoring categories. Gameplay is the same, but scoring for some categories is different (this is a competitor of Yahtzee, not a spinoff by Hasbro). But the scorepads are a bit small; fortunately, Amazon sells large-pring ones.

I love this game, it’s like Yahtzee only better and the game I grew up with. Instead of just have all black-and-white dice, the numbers on the dice come in different colors; black, red and green. Some of the required targets are the same as Yahtzee, whereas others you need to meet color requirements as well (there is a “full house” and then a “full house same color” for extra points). I don’t know why Yahtzee was the one that became more popular then Kismet and am glad you can still find Kismet.
