Worth it so far. Good value for money.
Very good. Large window. Surprisingly sturdy feeling for the money. Not sure yet on how well it keeps zero or if the screws back out, but so far I like it almost as well as my holosuns for a fraction of the price. Though those do have more features, this works.

Fantastic value
Perhaps one of the best sites you can buy for the money. It has every feature that I was looking for shake awake high durability, low profile great site picture and it doesn’t break the bank. If you don’t want to pay the outrageous prices for a Vortex or a Hollowsun, I would highly recommend Swampfox.

Shooter error ? Experienced a few kinks
When I received the unit it was dirty (used?) but working. I installed on my pistol zeroed it and I was very satisfied with the sight. On the second trip to the gun range after a few rounds the red dot splintered like a star burst and the dot was also ghosting in that a double image can be seen on top of each other. Also the point of impact shifted with rounds with about a 10 to 12 inch spread. Called Swampfox talked to a rep and he told me to send picture of splintered red dot, but my phone camera only picks up a solid dot. Tried calling back and to file a case to have sight repaired but unable to make contact with Swampfox.Swampfox rep called me back and left me a message with instructions and for me to call him back.I went a third time to the gunrange and experienced point of impact shift. The glare of the sun causes at times a prism affect in the shade it totally disappeared. So I tested the Swampfox fox sight again making sure that I centered the dot each time and it worked flawlessly? Occasionally during this training session I would get some ghosting depending on the angle I was standing to the sun. More like a reflection. When I shot all rounds hit the 3 inch target. I repeatedly tried to repeat the failure of impact shift and couldn't. The only reasonable explanation is that it was shooter error. I will be contacting the Swampfox rep today, and what ever I decide I'll update this review. Also the prism effect could have been caused by my glasses. More on this later after I run more tests.

Cheap and efficient
200 rounds of 45acp in, so far so good.

Swampfox Justice has the edge
Before purchase I spent days pouring through reviews with comparisons to the Holosun 407C. The Swampfox Justice seemed to be the most likely candidate to offer a true comparison for me. The one real outlier between the two would be Holosun's solar panel. While nice , for my purposes it is no deal breaker in not having this feature. This Swampfox Justice is fitted to my Glock 19 Gen 4 via a DPP Titanium RMR mounting plate which replaces the rear dovetailed sight, and because this is not a MOS slide, there is obviously no way to co-witness iron sights. Both have battery replacement without removing the sight, though some feel that the battery door on the Swampfox is a bit clumsy. I did not find this the case and installed the battery without troubles. Both have intensity adjustments with the Swampfox having a bit larger 3 MOA dot vs the Holosun 2 MOA. Not being a professional, choosing the larger 3 MOA helps me acquire quicker without completely blocking out the target. The windage and elevation adjustments too are similar, with the Holosun having audible clicks for adjusting while the Swampfox doesn't. Again, this was not an issue when sighting in the Swampfox Justice, EXCEPT that the windage adjustment felt a little loose, giving me the impression that it could move during actual shooting. My cure to this perceived issue was to put just a ever so small dot of clear fingernail polish on the edge of the windage adjustment screw after zeroing. It could be said that I should have contacted Swampfox customer service but I think this was more my insecurity rather than a real issue. There are other differences which you need to discover for yourself, and some may make Holosun the choice for you but as a homeowner/recreational shooter, the cost savings of the Swampfox made it the winner. for me.

Elevation adjustment is broken ****update****
After mounting on my CZ P07 I was excited to get to the range to zero the optic and start shooting.I was very disappointed to see that I could not zero the red dot with the dot from my bore sight laser. It didn't matter what the target range was, the red dot was always way below the bore sight dot.Yes, I tried to adjust the elevation. I moved from one extreme to the other, the dot did not move.I reached out to the seller "Y&E Deals" via Amazon contact. So far, no feedback from them. If I don't hear from them soon, back it goes.Check your optic as soon as possible once you get it.****UPDATE****I am embarrassed to admit that the issue was my own ignorance and not a defective sight. After not believing that I purchased two bad optics, I did more research. I mounted the sight backwards!!!I feel like a jerk.I will hit the range to zero the sight and discuss this more.Raised from 1 Star to 4 Stars.*****UPDATE****After using the red dot at the range multiple times I am raising this to 5 Stars. Holds Zero, Auto shut off works like a charm, Shake to Wake also works like a charm.I am very happy.

It does what it is supposed to do.
Fit and finish is good holds zero. I think that it is As good of quality as more expensive models.

Clear optic, easy to install
I've become a fan of swampfox optics. Crisp and clear optics, nice and bright dot. Really love the shake awake feature on it as well. Comes with everything needed to easily install on anything that accepts the RMR footprint.
