Does anyone know what the difference is between the advanced and the regular version?

My dogs ears are healthy so we don’t need the addition of 2% salicylic acid. Is the regular version still available to purchase? I have used it for years on several dogs we’ve owned & it’s fantastic stuff but am running out of what I bought years ago. Thanks.

Will this effectively treat active bacterial & fungal ear infections in cats?

No. This is not a medication intended to treat infections. My vet has me use it to clean the gunk out of my dog's ears before each application of the prescription medication. This ear solution gets the gunk out, so the medication can get into the ear canal and clear the infection.

Does the Advanced Ear Cleanser have the same drying feature as regular Epi-Optic?

Not sure what you mean be same drying feature - it is a ear cleanser but advanced meaning cleans the ears better

What does the cleaner smell like? I had a brand that smelled like peaches but I can't remember the name.

This does not smell like peaches but rather more medicinal.
