Britax Advocate G4.1 Convertible Car Seat, Manhattan

A bit on the wide side, but seems comfortable. I like that it has extra layers of protection. Washable/removable cover is key.

Using it for almost 3 years, very quality looks like a new. strong recommend.

I can't say enough about britax car seats, they are the best. We have 4 children ranging from 10-2 and we have used britax since our 10 year old was born. We tried out several different brands in an effort to save a little money and they always ended up being returned. This britax advocate is my favorite so far. I have a minivan and we installed this in one of the captains chairs using the latch system, it installed super easy, the seat fits great and was very easy to get it so that it doesn't move at all. I was happy to get a perfect install on my first attempt. The base has a wonderful rubbery impact absorbing bottom which makes it seem to really stay in place really well. The seat is a bit heavy, which I love because I don't have to change it from one car to the other or anything, it is obviously a very well made seat with steel frame. The fabric cleans off very easily with a damp rag and doesn't seem to make my son hot and sweaty. The headrest took me just a second to sit my son in and adjust to the correct height for him, so happy to not have to retread any straps! There is major side impact protection for his head which makes me feel like he's really safe and he seems to love it so much. He sat in it for a while looking at his book while I read through the manual. The incline is perfect so that when he does fall asleep on a ride, his head doesn't fall forward and hang. I have it rear facing so for now that's all I can give feedback on, this seat is great for extended rear facing for sure. He doesn't look cramped, he looks like he will be happy rear facing for a good while. He is currently 2 1/2 and average in size. Surely will fit rear facing for another year! Bought this as a second car seat so would not have to keep switching out car seats from car to car. I actually like this one better than the other brand I have. Love the adjustable back and forword of seat to lay baby back or more forward. Like the rubber on bottom of car seat to keep it from moving back and forth. Nice looking car seat.

The installation of this car seat is a beast. It took two hours. I'm still not sure if it's installed correctly. The seat doesn't seem to be that comfortable. Its safety ratings are great, but I would go with a different seat if I had it to do over again.I had a klek foonf before. It is worth the price.

I like the seat but it has markings in Spanish :(

I bought this because I wanted the safest car seat on the market. I have used Britax products for infant seat, convertible, and booster. The customer service is fabulous. I have had 2 minor issues and Britax has taken care of the problem very quickly! And it was on a 4 year old car seat!
