OXOGood Grips Stainless Steel Ice Cream Scoop, Black, One Size

This scoop is extremely sturdy and easy to use. The scoop end is solid brushed steel and not plated which I like as it won't flake off or tarnish. Works very well and is much better than our previous one.

As usual with the oxo brand this ice cream scoop is very good quality, heavy and strong enough so go through the hardest ice cream with ease and so comfortable to hold.

Easy to scoop icecream

It is good quality, heavy with a rubberized grip but it isn't perfect. One side seems different from the other. I don't mind buying 2nd-grade items as long as the price reflects that.

OXO products are just quality. Too many cheap products break or deteriorate too quickly. OXO are worth the money considering their quality.

I don't understand the low star reviews for this. I simply remove the ice tea/sorbet from the freezer and leave for about 6/7 minutes, maintain the scoop in a cup of hot water, (no big deal) and it works perfectly.

I love ice cream. I once had a 60 litre tub of Baskin Robbins ice cream (it's a long story) in a deep freeze in Moscow that I scooped out over several months. I had to take all the shelves out of the freezer to fit it in.The point? that big tub broke my old scoop. Since then I've had several. Most are too flimsy to deal with hard-frozen quality ice-cream with a high cream content. Many dig into your fingers with sharp metal edges when you're struggling to get the ice cream out.Not this beauty. I've used it for several weeks, including on some hard-frozen Haagen Dazs, and it cuts through that ice cream effortlessly. The handle is, as advertised, a "good grip". It's good enough to encourage me to buy more ice cream!The only slight downside is that the finely-sculpted narrow ridges on some parts of the rubber handle, designed to make it more comfortable to hold, are in fact so fine they are hard to clean. It would be better without them. Otherwise, though, the perfect ice-cream scoop.

I was using a trigger scoop which used to twist the ice cream round rather than out. This scoop is wonderful. Its so sturdy I think it will last years. The ice cream (even very hard) effortlessly scoops and makes lovely rounds. Wonderful purchase, worth the money.

Absolutely love this scoop. It's sturdy, easy to hold with the non slip handle and it scoops hard ice cream with ease. No more ice cream on the floor from having to use so much force. I 100% recommend this scoop.

Niet echt een must have

Sturdy. Seems like a quality stainless with heavy enough gauge - no rough spots or flaking yet. I tried many different ones stainless, plastic, spring scoop, etc. but this traditional looking one just works best and easiest to scoop with a nice weight and well designed soft handle that fits my hand.
