After watching a programm on UTube ( french edition ) about Bernard Michaud and the way it's always made " facon ancienne" I went on desertcart to look for it , found it and ordered it right away . Two days later it was at my door , intact and perfect (sorry to hear about that some customers received their damaged ) . The little bucket it comes in is adorable but what's amazing is what it's inside. As soon you open the jar an explosion of flowers hits your nose : lavender , rose and romarin among the dominant notes . The taste is sublime with a little crunchy tecture ( the way a good honey should be ) I just finished my second bucket and going to order a new one . Once you taste this honey supermarket brands do not make the cut , even the so called " local unflitered raw" types. Bernard Michaud is on the expensive side but it's worth every penny ! Review: Horrible Product Packaging! - Maybe the honey is ok, but they use a plastic insert into the tin that leaks everywhere!

Horrible Product Packaging!
Maybe the honey is ok, but they use a plastic insert into the tin that leaks everywhere!

Great honey, poorly packed.
I love the honey..buy each year and give as gifts. But this year, one of the containers leaked a lot! It was truly a mess opening it.

Pail leaked
The pail leaked and I got sticky honey all over my shelf. Had to refrigerate it with a plate underneath. Also kind of pricey. I did like the honey though. That being said I will stick to the supermarket honey on a regular basis.

I love this honey--when it comes intact
I love this honey--when it comes intact. The bucket/can came loose in a box when received. I sent the honey as a gift. The recipient received a box full of running and dripping honey. This is not the first time or complaint about this product received damaged, banging around in the mailing carton. In the past when the honey is received intact I rate it a five star premium honey. But I am not going to scrape honey off of the cardboard mailing box. It is really frustrating when sent as a gift and they get a box of, well, honey and a half empty bucket.
