I usually don't write reviews. A product has to be unusually good or horribly bad for me to take the time to write a review. This product is unusually good. I usually buy the plain Jane store brand of 13 gallon trash bags for my kitchen. I mean, why spend a little more for a name brand bag when it's just going into the trash. Right? Wrong! These bags have totally changed my mind. My cheap store brand bags don't have a great fit on my standard 13 gallon trash can. The tops of the bags don't fit tightly around the top of the can. Therefore, by filling the bag, it can slide down into the can since the top isn't snug around the top of the trash can. These bags fit my trash can perfectly. When I put the bag into my kitchen trash can, I had to stretch the top to get it around the top of the can. That's perfect because heavy trash isn't going to make the top of the bag slide down into the can. But the best part of these trash bags is the scent! They smell beautiful. I have a closed plastic can in my kitchen. The bags don't make my kitchen smell like lavender or vanilla. But whenever I open the lid of my trash can, I'm greeted with the fresh smell of lavender. Wow! This is a great change from usually smelling old trash or old leftover food. I love that the bags are strong enough to cram that extra handful of trash into without ripping. They have a bit of give or stretch so they aren't so easily torn. I got 2 boxes of these bags when I came across a great sale on them for $11.97 per box. If you're sick of smelly kitchen trash stinking up your kitchen, try these lovely scented trash bags. For me, it's worth it!

Item is weak and of bad quality. Nothing sharp was thrown in it. It’s mere kitchen trash of leafy vegetables and tissues but item breaks and leaks 50-70% of the time.

Want a garbage bag that doesn’t leak? Doesn’t tear? How about a garbage bag that smells pleasant even when there are foul odors around? Hefty lavender scented trash bags are superb! I was wondering if I would ever find a garbage bag that was really leak proof. So many companies say their bags are leak proof when they’re not. It’s extremely frustrating. But Hefty? If I could rate this trash bag with 10 stars - I would. This is one product that I’ve bought over and over again. My friend was actually using these for her used cat litter. The bags worked so well that I bought a box of 40, and then another box of 80, and so forth. The power burst ones smell awful, but lavender smells great!
