I highly recommend this one! I have had carpal tunnel issues & had the surgery done for both wrists 15 yrs ago. To keep it from reoccurring (which it can), I have an extremely ergonomic desk setup: split (Kinesis) keyboard, and I started using two mice years ago to cut down the time each hand uses the mouse. I have two vertical mice which works well for my the right thumb but my left started having different issues (trigger thumb and pain) and I periodically need steroid injections into the base of it. I have tried many different thumb braces to help immobilize it but this is the simplest, cleanest design and basically works the best. I can still type with it; it limits the motion but doesn't make it impossible to type with it on. I've bought three of them now in case they stop making it.

Did exactly what I need it to do. Comfortable support and the Velcro keeps things stable.TIP: If you’re having issues with both thumbs…carpal tunnel or whatever it is. JUST BUY TWO. Save yourself the time and speed up the recovery and immobility process. I bought one to “see if it worked”….GRAB 2.Also:CARPAL TUNNEL FRIENDS: I highly recommend the copper infused gloves. The compression/pressure they provide really helps me. And they fit under this brace. So you can double up on the extra cold or stiff days. Hope that helps!

The thumb splint is a good quality product, and made well. My only complaint is that the thumb can still flex when the splint is on. I searched online but was unable to find anything that provided more thumb support.

Even on the first night wearing it I woke up with more movement than I have had in a long time! Easy to use. It gets a little itchy under wrist part so I add a soft cloth and its perfect!

I have short hands but large palms, which usually means I get "cadet" sized gloves, but unfortunately there aren't any "cadet" sized hand splits or braces out there unless you get something custom made. I was so glad to have found this brace after searching and trying others, none of which fit until this one did. The thumb is "too long" technically, but even though the velcro part that goes around the thumb hits the top of the thumb for me, it still does the job of keeping the thumb immobile, which is exactly what I need. The velcro around the wrist is easy to adjust and stays in place even if it's a little loose, which is what I need since I use this while sleeping.A while back my left thumb started occasionally twitching on its own, and it's progressed to trigger thumb, where I can only bend it a certain amount until it pops and hurts and sticks in position until I un-pop it, which also hurts. I've got some exercises to use but in the meantime, until they work (if they do), my big problem is that I move my hand in my sleep and need something to keep it in place so I don't wake myself up with the pain.This brace does the job. It's comfortable, light weight, easy to adjust, and soft. It did come with quite a chemical rubbery smell but one wash in Woolite in the sink and dried on the line (not in a machine) and it was fine.

It works for the most part if you have nothing else but I find myself adjusting & readjusting it because bottom of the Velcro that wraps around my thumb cuts into my skin. The edge of the Velcro isn’t soft; it’s sharp. It also doesn’t stop the top joint of my thumb from bending which I was hoping for.

Best brace in my opinion for trigger thumb. Great support! Very comfortable and washable. Love the price as well!

I ordered this to ease the pain and help the range of motion of my thumb with trigger finger. The thumb part of the brace does go up past the most distal joint from my hand and holds it gently in a mostly extended position (could be more if I tightened it more). I use it at night in bed and it keeps me from going into my clenched hands position which had been locking my thumb into flexion for most of the day. Has also significantly decreased the pain I had throughout the day . I do wake up with a slightly sweaty thumb, but it's minor. Would highly recommend for trigger thumb.
