Bought this light as a present for my husband last Christmas. We didn’t get to use it until last week as our diving trip was cancelled last December. Once charged the light worked well and enhanced the go pro videos whilst diving, but on our second dive which was around 17m deep, the light got stuck on and wouldn’t turn off no matter what we tried. We had to leave it on in our hotel room until the battery run out! We had hoped it would then charge and be fine, but it now doesn’t even turn on or charge. Very disappointed as it says it should be able to go down to much deeper depths (I think it said 50m) than we’d ever need. Complete waste of money unfortunately. Very disappointed.

Seams robust and light. Will try it out in the dark. However. It’s bright on the top setting. And still bright on the low setting. Not a lot of difference but mainly softer Looks good. Easy to use and set up on a rig like I have.

After 1st dive to 28m, could not switch off until back on boat. When the button was pressed water seeped out which wasn’t a good sign. Still, not water or condensation on the lens so returned to15m for dive 2. After resurfacing I noticed condensation on the lens😥. Cleaned, dried, stored and charged as instructions…… it started flashing continually during charging. Switched off and it wouldn’t switch on again. It would switch on when charging but not without. Ever the optimist I took it on dive 3- no joy. So returned to Amazon, got a refund and have spent £10 more on the Sea Frogs which already seems much more robust, brighter and a known make. Had it appeared on the initial search , I’d probably have purchased that as the chances of the Suptig leaking as others reported were high but I took a chance. Shame really. Photos with GoPro Hero 5 black, red lens filter in 6m vis. They ray was 1.5m across, so I was a good 2m away, as you can see, the light doesn’t reach.

I've used my Suprig LED video light twice, first was to find a dropped/lost gopro camera (UK lake), it proved very useful and we managed to locate the lost GoPro camera Second time was on a dive in Malta, Comino, blue Lagoon, P31 wreck, it proved to be very useful again, when infiltrating the various compartments of the wreck, I also got some good photos and video footage.

Stopped working after second dive! Impossible to navigate throught the return policy, unable to contact seller. Avoid. Avoid buying on Amazon. Waste of money!

Just finished diving in Cozumel with this Suptig light attached to a Gopro 9 camera. Everyone in Cozumel wants one of these lights now. It lights up a wide area rather than the spot light effect that normal hand held lights have. I attached a night dive video using this light. The light has three power settings and the attached video was done with the medium light setting. As you can see, the light illuminated the area around the octopus for a much nicer video. The light performed flawlessly down to 80 feet with no leakage in the case. After the 45 minute night dive the light still indicated full charge on medium power. I also did a ship wreck dive and again, after the light was on for 45 minutes it still indicated full charge using medium light setting. I can't say enough positive things about this light. There are two contacts on the outside of the case that allow the light to be charged so just be sure to soak the light in a sink full of fresh water when you are done diving in salt water and wipe the contacts clean. The actual video is very clear but I hope you'll get an idea about how good the light is.

We are very amateur GoPro users, but found this light easy to use. We had it on a recent dive holiday, and the battery lasted for the whole week. It really added to our underwater photos and video without using a filter. The only downside (but not enough to knock the rating) is that the charger plug is different, so you have to make sure to bring it along!

Bought this small light especially for the GoPro and diving. I fully charged it before my first dive. In de room when it was dark I tried the light. 100% brightness and lower brightness and the SOS signal. All seems to be working good. At start on the first dive in Bonaire at 2 meter it starts softly flashing (NOT the SOS) by itselfs. Whatever button I push and how long it does not matter. I could not turn the light on or off or in SOS. I went up. Did not manage to switch it off. According to my dive-computer, we did no go deeper as 6meter 70 cm the first dive. All the dive this Suptig 30 leds light was sofly glowing leds on and off. Returned at the room and notice that the light smell bad. You saw it was cloudy inside the light. After a few hours the light turned brown inside (see picture). Not only I paid around 30 USD/ 30 Euro for a totally worthless product. It also negatively affected my mood on the first day(s) of the dive-vacation. And during this trip I was not able make video's in the darker spots of the reef. Be aware and STAY far away from this so called dive-light. They say they have 2 years Guarantee. Hope to get the money back. Unfortunately, Amazon's 30 day return policy has expired One star is even too much !!

Bought 4 lamps. 3 of them died on the first dive which was only 15 meters deep… Spend your money elsewhere if you want waterproof lamps.
