Most Responsive FurReal Friend
I ordered both Daisy and the Panda for my grand-daughters. Daisy came in try-me mode; thus, I discovered that she is really very responsive to motion and to light. She is secured very well in the box, and I could not turn her off, as the switch is is on the bottom of her foot. I put the box in a spare room. If I turned on the light, she meowed and began moving. If I walked into the room, same thing. After three days of this, I was convinced that this toy did everything I expected, and more. Then I took it out of the box and turned it off. The Panda, while cute, apparently has only one sensor, because I was hard-pressed to get it to do anything. If I pushed the button on its back, sometimes it walked and sometimes it didn't. It also made responsive sounds only intermittently. It is cute, but no comparison to Daisy whatsoever in terms of responsiveness. I really needed two different FurReal Friends for the girls, but I am not giving one grand-daughter a better pet than the other one. I could have gotten a different cat, but it isn't at all clear from the reviews that there are any other cats that have the same responsiveness. So I sent back the Panda and bought another Daisy, and I will have to figure out how to make them look different before Christmas.

She is Cute, Robotic, Makes Human Sounding Purrs and Doesn't Really Jump. My Daughters & I Fell In Love!
The media could not be loaded. PROS: FurReal Daisy is quite adorable. She makes the cutest noises and moves around alot. My daughter loved playing with her. She move and lunges around if you squeeze her paw or wave something in her face. If you tickle her nose with the included toy she will interact with it by purring and moving around. Her fur is really soft and she is easy for a child to hold.Keep in mind that when you take her out the box to turn her to the on position. She is set to "try me". We did a toy unboxing on our Birthday Toy channel and didn't realize you had to do this. It's not the toy's fault as it it is clearly labeled on the box and instruction booklet.CONS: The movements are a bit robotic so do not expect her to move around like a real cat. Her purrs are also human simulated from what I can tell. I don't have a real cat so I am not 100% positive about that. One important thing to note is that although the box says she jumps, she doesn't. Her bottom feet do not leave the surface. It's more of lunge upward and towards things. So if you are looking for her to dance around on her hind legs she will not do that.Overall we really like this toy kitty and give her the thumbs up.

A great toy when the real thing is not an option!
SO happy to have found this kitty toy on sale -- my daughter, age 5, LOVES cats, and since we can't have a real one due to allergies, I knew this would be a great treat for her! This thing is too cute. It purrs and meows and stands up on its back feet, to "play" with her and the toy that it came with. She loves it like she probably would a real cat. My 2 year old has lately started carrying the cat around, laying down with it and petting it while it purrs at her. It is not so loud that it is annoying -- in fact, it is just really cute enough to enjoy. It makes my daughters happy and keeps them entertained enough, and you can turn it off if and when it does get on your nerves (never!).

well worth the sale price, not so sure about full price
ProsCuteness, it is just adorablePrice, the sale price I got for it was greatInteraction, it works well with the toy and responds easilyFunctions, it does a lot for one toyConsMaterial, the fur itself is soft but the stiff hard toy underneath is a definite drawback making it not bed worthy as far as I am concerned. It is not something a child can cuddle with comfortably.Too girly, I don’t know why this bothers me but it does, there are too many gender determined toys out there already I think I would feel better if they came in two color choices.Price, yes I got this item for a great price because it was on sale but the regular price is a little high for my liking.Batteries, Daisy comes with batteries installed and ours must have been in the on position because this cat would not shut up for a second, just taking it out of the package drove me crazy listening to it meow and of course the batteries died in the first ten minutes so I had to replace them. I would recommend taking them out if you are using for a future gift.Over all I actually like this Kitty, I am glad I got her for my son he is going to love her. I would recommend it.

Daughter Loves it; Parents think it's Possessed
My daughter loves this cute plush robotic household beast. We however, think it is demonically possessed with the spirit of "Mee-Owww" from the Tribe of most ridiculous cat sounds I've ever heard. The cats meow sounds like a 35 year old woman literally saying, "MEOW". Now, most of the time I enjoy it when a 35 year old woman purrs and meows.. (hehe) but I'm not so sure I want my 7 year old daughter playing with this "mid-life crisis cat in heat". My wife says I'm going overboard, but sometimes at night, this thing will randomly cry out for no reason whatsoever. Plus, batteries go in it's butt, so I'm not sure how happy it is. Anyway, we had a blessing done by the gay medium from "Ghost Adventures" and I feel a lot better now. Except now the cat sounds like a 35 year old Tranny saying, "Grrrr". Ugh. Seriously though - buy it. Your kids will love this stupid cat.

Due to its light sensors Kitty does not like to be left alone in a dark room
This is the first toy I have regretted purchasing even before it came out of the package. Due to its light sensors Kitty does not like to be left alone in a dark room. I had to stick this demonic robot in the garage the first night it arrived just so I could sleep. Of course the off switch for demo mode is oh so conveniently on Kitty's foot (which is of course tethered to the package) so in order to keep the thing from freaking out while I wrapped it I had to turn it off. Easier said than done. Switch to the right and kitty starts try in to jump out of the package, clicking and straining against the cardboard so hard I'm sure it would break. Switch right and kitty starts pawing at you. It has to be switched to dead center. My daughter has been clamoring for this or I seriously would have just sent it back.
