bar room doors outside for a gate:
Lot of fun building an outside gate with these. Not hard to tighten. If you have a heavy wide door the hinge springs really need to be fully tightened. Works great, looks good. However i need to build a latch for the gate because a strong wind can blow open the doors

Used them for our kids room since it was a tight fit. They love it.

Smooth and durable action
I replaced a gravity based set of hardware with these. It took a couple of tries to ensure I understood the instructions, but after that they went in easily. I do wish I could back the tension off just one more level, but doing so allows the pins to slide out. All in all they are well made and made our 3/4 doors swing a lot better.

They’re OK
They work OK once you spend enough time figuring them out. They are complicated to get lined up (more so then regular hinges) and they don’t match any standards router hinge pocket jig. Once I spent several hours I finally got them installed and working the way I wanted but it took much longer and more complicated than hanging a standard door

Great for saloon door style doors
These are super sturdy, and so nice to work with once you figure them out. You’re definitely gonna need two people to work with these. They are pretty heavy duty and hard to hold open on your own.
