I think it refers to light or dark tapes and elastic so it won't show under your hair.

Can you use this if you have really short hair?

If the hair covers the ear where you attach the tape then yes. Don’t like that system. I buy instant secret lift pro eye by Moliesa the ONE PIECE system. When you buys refills for the 2 piece they don’t stick. They used to but they’ve changed them over the years

It’s not easy to get off. It hurts. I don’t recommend this product

Using them for years, but got a few tips

This is amazing! Takes years off. It's easy to use (Don't forget to swab the placement areas good with ALCOHOL and make sure it's DRY before application.) last 6-8 hours. Great for a dates, parties, zoom calls, photo sessions, performances. to cover the tape up I wear a wig when using. A full head of hair also takes years off. My issue is the adhesive doesn't come off sometimes for days .Thus I just bought some surgical tape remover . See if that helps. I get red bumps where tape was on my neck too. Ouch! Wish that wasn't so because I would use these more often. Way cheaper and less dangerous than a face lift. I'd submit photos but I don't want to waste the tape just for this review. 😊
