2005-2014 Mustang Convertible Love The Drive Wind Deflector Screen (For Vehicle Without Light/Style Bar)

I think that anyone who doesn't look into a Wind Deflector when they own a convertible is really missing out. Any of them will do the trick as far as the experience goes. You get a quieter, less windy experience, which is very important on very long trips at high speed.What makes this product better? It is constructed out of high quality parts and is very attractive. I take great pride in my Mustang Convertible, and something as prominently installed as this device has to look like it belongs in the car. It has a nice system that connects it to the car easily, and can be installed and removed in a matter of a few quick minutes.

Just received the Love the Drive wind deflector for my 2012 Mustang GT, and wanted to let everyone know, this is a great product. I went with the standard shipping, ordered on a Tuesday (I think) and got it the following Monday, so pretty fast. The product is EXACTLY as described on Amazon, and is complete with written installation instructions and photos (of the car you are installing it on!). A third grader could install this product, no problem; it literally took me less than 10 minutes to get it out of the box and have it installed. And, even though the instructions recommend getting a friend to help, you don't really need to. The product appears to be of very high quality construction (lightweight aluminum, very rigid), and is painted a glossy black so it looks sharp. Performance-wise, it really delivers. At 70MPH with the screen up and the windows down, the wind is probably reduced around 85%, and with the windows up, I'd say it is around 95%! These things really do work great! All in all, a great experience so far. I'd recommend this company and their products to anyone, and will certainly buy from them again should the need arise!

This wind deflector was easy to install. Seems like good quality. It works as described to block the wind, and especially nice for highway speeds! I would recommend this deflector.

I bought and return a couple of wind deflectors. I tried the one that is all fabric. Worked great, but, it did not look good because my driver seat is higher than the passenger. The Love The Drive adds to the Mustang performance styling. This is my first convertible, a 2010 Red Candy Mustang Convertible. I bought the Love THE Drive Wind Deflector and I Love MY Drive! With my wife in car, windows up and deflector up, just a whisper of wind in the car. I reached back and dropped the wind deflector and my wife's hair was blowing straight forward, pulled the deflector back up and no more wind. I have tested it at very fast speeds and you just feel a little breeze on the top of your head. I really enjoy having the top down when it is in the low 50's with the heat on. The wind deflector keeps the heat in the cockpit. I bet it will be the same on hot days and will keep the cool air conditioned air in the car.Great company, quick to ship and it is exactly as described. Buy it without hesitation!.

When I order this, I started having buyers remorse due to the high price. When the box arrived a few days later, I was ready to ship it back without even opening it. I again read some of the other reviews, and they of course had some positive comments. So I figured what the heck, I will give it a shot. No likee, and I will ship it back.10 minutes after getting it out of the box, I had it installed and ready to rock. I took my Mustang out on the road and nearly freaked out at how GOOD this wind deflector really was! At least 80% (if not more) of the cabin wind was gone. The ride was quieter and more comfortable. I also decided to try it on a day (3:30 AM on my way to work) when the temps dipped to about 62ish (F), and I will say, that I stayed warm... even at highway speeds... well except for the very top of my shaved head, (needed a ball cap). So my top down driving season in the Mid Atlantic USA will be longer!Good construction, easy to install and use. Yes, you lose the back seats, but who really wants to jam their fat @$$'s into the back of a Mustang anyway?Yeah, it is a bit pricey, but if you top down drive as much as i do, then it is worth it.5 stars

i have a Mustang 500GT - this wind screen is well made, relatively easy to install, does it's job -reduces wind (especially on the back of our necks), and easy to store in the trunk.THE ONLY REASON I DEDUCTED A STAR : the clips could use some engineering. The bottom clips are a little harsh on the vinyl trim (below the back seats) - the spring metal that closes the gap on the steel hook is somewhat sharp and could scratch the vinyl trim..Also, the spring metal clip, once clipped to the baby seat mounts buried in the back seats, are hard to unclip - getting your fingers to reach in - compress the spring metal clip - and push the hook free, i found to be challenging (i am a car guy who can change a light bulb in 30 seconds)..My SUGGESTION - don't use metal. use a hard plastic hook for the top and some other form of hook for the bottom (wider area on the vinyl trim would reduce bending and scratching)What i also like about the way this screen is set up - the tie down straps have quick releases - so if you have to move it temporarily - you can leave the hooks and straps in place and remove the screen for a back seat passinger - rather quickly and easily.i am very satisfied with the purchase - now i have to see what top speed it can handle ;)
