excellent quality and did what exactly I expect

An UNIVERSAL mount. That is. My original mount that comes with the stand was broken during installation, so I searched for this one on amazon. You will be surprised by how thick the screw is. I even think that this small thing can hold more than hundreds of pounds.

Simple and robust monitor pole adapter.

Good value (comparatively) for the function. Strong and adjustable to various size pole diameters. Compact enough not to push the monitor far from the pole but still allow for variation in the angle of orientation.
