Very underrated device!!!
I was originally put off buying this item because of the negative reviews, but after trying alternative ideas (such an a venturi syphon, which was utterly useless) I realised that my choice was to either pay an absolute fortune for the utter ripoff leading brand one or give this one a try. Considering that here in the UK we can return any defective item within a year if it breaks I didn't really understand what some of the other negative reviewers were complaining about since they could just return it for a full refund, so I figured I had nothing to lose by trying so I bought one and I also paid a little extra for the 2 years insurance that was offered to me by Amazon at checkout so if anything does go wrong I am covered.Well, I was extremely happy with my decision because it has worked brilliantly! I needed a system to water all my hanging baskets because it was taking ages to do them manually each day, but it also needed to add fertiliser because otherwise I would have to mix it and water them manually which would defeat the point. So plumbed in the fertiliser injector and I made sure that the input pressure was regulated down to the required amount (I have mine regulated to 1 bar, and I strongly suspect that the reason for people reporting broken seals is because they didn't bother to regulate the pressure and subjected it to the full force of the mains water, but its just a hunch).On the subject of broken seals though the box actually came with a bunch or replacement parts including seals inside it so it seems like the manufacturer has listened to the reviews and added some in each box. The unit itself seems very sturdy and as I say it has worked brilliantly and saved me a great deal of time. A well deserved 5 stars!
