Amazon Essentials Women's Lightweight V-Neck Sweater, Long Sleeve, Ribbed, 100% Cotton

I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this sweater. It’s not too heavy but not too light. Most sweaters often swallow me up or are too short. It’s warm, soft, comfortable, and it fits perfectly. I will definitely order more colors. This will be a fall/winter staple for me. It’s fitted but not tight and works well under layers. I washed & dried it before wearing it and I found that it did not pill or come apart. I am very happy with the Amazon Essentials brand.

I ordered this sweater in black and in red, and the sizing was consistent between the two. The red is red, not lipstick or fire-truck, and has no orange tones. The black is true black. I ended up ordering an XL in both (I usually buy a 12-14), since I was looking for a looser fit, and wanted to be able to throw both into the dryer after washing. Both sweaters reach the lower edge of my hip, and have room for layering underneath. They are not boxy; they are cut with a bit of curve--so in a smaller size they'd appear more fitted. The V-neckline is a nice length--not too low, not too high. The cotton is a nice, tight medium-weight weave, and they seem well-made. In the larger size they look casual, but in a smaller size they'd be suitable for the office. I'd say the sizing is true on these--they can be stretched a bit because of the cotton construction, so there is a little "play" in the sizing.

Generally speaking, this sweater is of good quality for the price. However, the collar has taken on the “half-washed” look on one side, sort of twisting up and away from the body. YMMV with the collar seam; I am unsure if it is actually defective or if something happened while washing it. It’s still wearable but is less presentable.The fit is snug but appropriately sized, if that makes sense. I was able to layer with thin shirts. The length is average bordering on longer.The color is fairly true to the photograph and did not fade.

I ordered this sweater in light pink and absolutely love it! It's all cotton with classic design features- the border around the v-neck, the bottom and the cuffs make for a very timeless look. I am 62, 5' 8" 138 pounds and this sweater in size medium fits me perfectly. The pink color is a very soft and pretty shade of pink.I loved it so much that I immediately bought it in white and will likely revisit other color choices as it gets closer to Fall.I have washed the pink one once, on cold/delicate and laid it out to dry. It has held it's shape and seems no worse for the wear.The price of this sweater for the quality item it is makes it a screaming deal. I highly recommend this sweater.

Beautiful and great fitting sweaters, but unfortunately not great quality and sizing is way off. I bought two of these in off white and green color. After several purchases and returns to find the right size, I ended up keeping both colors and both XL size (I wear medium size in general) However, green (dark color) did not hold up well with washing. After only one wash, the sweater looked really faded and worn out. It didn't shrink or change otherwise, but it looked really old and worn out. The off white one looked much better as fading didn't affect it.I loved that these are cotton sweaters and they were super comfortable and soft initially. They are classic fit and cut and I loved everything about them. However I'm disappointed I was able to wear them only few times because of the quality issues.

Size up and you will love this sweater! I'm normally a small & bought a medium based on other reviews.

This is such a great sweater! It’s a nice weight, not thick or bulky at all. I was worried about what a $20 sweater would feel like, but I was pleasantly surprised. Based on the other reviews I did size up. I am 5’7 and wear a size 14, I normally order XL but went with a XXL and glad I did. It lays nicely, not boxy, the sleeves are long enough and I can tuck it slightly in to my waistband and still hangs beautifully. I’ve not laundered it yet but will be hanging to dry (as I do with all my sweaters). I will absolutely be ordering more.

Very happy with this 100% cotton sweater. I’m trying to avoid synthetic material when possible, which is becoming increasingly difficult. This sweater seems well made and is very comfortable. It might run a little small, or I might be packing a couple of ice-cream-summer pounds ! ;-). The sleeves were to long for my petite self, but the cuffs turned up for a perfect fit

Flattering good quality cotton sweater perfect for the office at a very reasonable price. It was a cosy fit true to size, so if you want a more relaxed fit, size up.

Llego bien empaquetado y a tiempo. El color correspondiente. Buena hechura. Para mi gusto es un poco largo y un poco grueso, por lo que aun no lo he utilizado, cuando haga más frío.
