Good product
I've been using Roux eyelash tint for years, but when I couldn't find it on Amazon anymore, I ordered this one. It's easy to apply to my lashes, doesn't take long, and is quite dark for my blond lashes.A couple of tips: As someone else said, the applicator wands are too thick and cumbersome to apply the liquid (step #1) as delicately as you need to. You want to be able to get all the way to the base of the lashes so they look naturally dark. A tooth-pick wrapped in a bit of cotton works well instead. It would be nice if there were stain remover included. I still have some from my Roux tint. I don't know what's in it, but no doubt a commercial beauty supply store has something that would work.I dispensed with the under-eye covers as being too much trouble. Just take your time and be careful. Someone else suggested using vaseline on the skin. That would work, but any lashes with vaseline won't take the dye.The solution for step 1 is quite stingy in the eye, so be careful. They warn that the gel in step 2, has silver nitrate, so again, be careful.Delivery from the U.K. was 3 weeks ahead of the promised arrival date.If it lasts a longer or shorter time, I don't care. I'm just happy to have eyelash dye again.

Did not work at all
I asked my husband to get this for me. I have light red eyelashes. The first time I used it, I got some in my eyes and had to wash the gel off. The comb did not saturate my lashes so I kept going over them until the buildup eventually got in my eye. It did not work at all. I thought it might have been because my eyes were watering and I got my lashes wet. So I redid it, this time leaving the liquid on for several minutes instead of the recommended one or two. This time when I applied the gel, I put a dab between my first finger and my thumb and grabbed my lashes in a pinch. This worked much better. My lashes were fully saturated. I kept it on for a good 20 minutes. When I washed it off, you could barely see it at all. Waste of time, and my eyes hurt. I'm very disappointed. I'll have to go back to a salon or find a better brand

Great product if you are more precise
So I’m not a mastermind when it comes to home beauty routines, but I have colored my own hair successfully many times and usually know my way around novice level items. Tinting was a bit nerve wracking for me since it is permanent and against the eyes, but with a wedding upcoming, I knew I wanted to enhance my natural look.I lifted my lashes to a varying degree of success, and while they were in place on the lift mat, I used this tint kit. I was thrown off by the lack of direct instructions being listed anywhere obvious. My lizard brain didn’t think to check the little pamphlet thoroughly, so I googled it instead.Once I felt confident in the timing and amount of each needed, I applied the two steps and was thrilled at the instant results. I completely overthought the whole thing, because it’s super easy! Felt like I was back at newb status though...Tips I wish I HAD known... it’s essentially instant hair dye. It’s going to dye your skin, too, so my fail-tastic self who wasn’t able to get my under eye guards to stick looked like I had a black eye forming.Put a barrier around your brows. Or yours will also look a bit like you were in the dark while filling them.Use a precise brush to apply the primer. Don’t feel like you have to use theirs... you can get a tiny brush and touch off their applicators. You’ll have a lot more success than the big swabs. This color is DARK brown. I’m a super fair skinned dark brunette and I no longer fill my brows... I just use clear gel to shape them and powder to fill.

Not as easy to use as old formulation, and don't use on eyelashes!
It took me a few tries to get this to work. It's important to use the "Vitamin C" (is it really? I find that doubtful) tablet exactly as directed, and then, after multiple applications, wait until it dries before applying the gel. Before I got that figured out, it hardly dyed at all. Now I get a nice, dark color which lasts for several weeks. I do NOT advise you use it on eyelashes - the one time I tried it caused a really strong burning sensation when it got a teeny bit in my eye. Didn't get that with the old formulation. Bottom line, I'll continue to use it, but will look for the old formula once it's used up.

Swiss O'par brown brow dye
I have used Swiss O'par brown lash and brow dye for years on my blond eyebrows - never on lashes. It works very well as long as care is taken to remove ALL oils from the eyebrows before applying it. Don't skip this step or it will not be very effective. The papers and the little comb provided are useless. I use an old clean mascara wand to apply the liquid and another one to apply the gel, The liquid in the amber colored bottle is clear but it will eventually darken as the product ages, so be sure to cap the bottle as quickly as possible and store upright in a dark place. An application is supposed to last for six weeks, but for me it only lasts about a month. I use brow mascara to touch up if needed at the end of the month (I like Jane Iredale's blond brow mascara). A box will last about a year. Even so, it makes short work of my makeup routine.Swiss O'par is a really good product but don't skip the prep work or you will waste your time.
