Hi Edward: Bosch (9654) work for the 2005 Chrysler 5.7 V8 hemi engine. They are fine wire double Iridium lasting up to 4x longer than the copper plugs. Iridium and platinum are not as efficient or conductive as copper, and both of these metals are prone to overheating. As long as they do not overheat, they do last longer than copper spark plugs. Although copper has the shortest lifespan, it is generally considered the best material for a central electrode because of its excellent conductivity.

What is the difference between the Bosch 9654 and 9664?

One is prolly hotter/cooler than the other and or is more/less protruding into the combustion chamber than the other. Best advice: follow the recommendations on the application charts.

Yes they will work on your 03 Dodge Ram 5.7L Hemi. I personally would stick with the original spark plug manufacturer that your truck came with (Champion). They also have Iridium plugs (9403 Champion Iridium).
