Great Grip!
I ordered this item to be used for something other than rugs. My friend has a bed that has 6 wooden slats and does not need a box spring. She is older and on the shorter side and her mattress is thick. When she tries to sit on the mattress, it slides around on the slats and I was afraid of her falling on the floor. So, on a hunch, I bought this grip and laid it on top of the wooden slats and put the mattress on top the grip. It works like a charm! The mattress doesn't slide around anymore and my friend is safe from falling on the floor. Great product!

Work great. Medium thickness.
These work great for under braided rugs. Hold well. And they have medium thickness so they add some softness without too much. Easy to lay down flat. And easy to cut. Seems to hold rug in place well. But not sticky.

Slips a lot less
Works well, it’s a little too small for my 5x7 rug but it’s pretty good. Prevents most of the slipping but if the kids are running around a lot it will move some.

Great Purchase, bought twice.
Works Very Well. 2nd time I've bought for carpet. Very satisfied and MUCH better than other brands. No slipping.

Works well
Works great to keep rugs from slipping on hardwood floors. Was easy to cut to size and it stays in place. Highly recommend!

If you use it over carpet, it will not slide around but it will bunch up.
My goal was to use it over carpet which it does keep it from sliding around. The instructions are to use your hands to smooth out the creases. Well you could try that for hours and make no progress. It keeps the area rug from moving but it bunches up. I tried to roll the rug up and stretch the pad and put the rug back on it and smooth out the rug which worked but after walking on it for a of while it just bunched up again. Maybe the company could work to smooth it out better and roll it up instead of folding it.

It does it's job
This pad keeps the rug in place. I was always putting my 3x5 rug back in position but this has great traction. Also it doesn't leave a sticky residue on the floor.

Works Fine, Good for Dogs, but Requires Occasional Adjustments. Requires pressure to work.
Had the product for a year now and no major issues. It stops the rug from sliding when you walk on it.Pros:Got it because my dog likes to gallop and slide across a hallway rug while chasing things. The product does a good job keeping things in place, but will occasionally bunch up underneath in a way that I notice while walking over. The worst is when the dog is kicking the rug in it's sleep.I do have to readjust the rug every so often, probably once a month. It will peak out after vigorous running across it, but it's a minor thing that only takes a minute.Dog hair doesn't seem to affect it. I have a little build up under the grip pad, but there's still no slipping.Cons:I have noticed that it slips easily when pushed from the side. My conclusion is that this product is most effective when it is being squished. I've seen a few people in the comments who used with with a throw rug on a couch and this doesn't seem to be the product for that. It's not inherently sticky, so it will slide more easily on smooth surfaces if it's not being squished. That being said, I used to be able to run and jump on the rug and it would slide across the floor. Now it barely moves. It does seem to be degrading slowly though. It's probably from the dog kicking it, but the little foam balls on top are slowly coming off. It's only a few so far, and performance hasn't been affected. This product would probably be most effective if it was attached to the rug with a sticky backing, preventing the two from moving independently.
