Excellent restoration product
I use this product on my antique furniture to cover scratches and restore grain highlights that fade over time. Lemon oil works well for polishing and cleaning, this works best to restore wood beauty.

This stuff is magic!
Seriously. Magic. We have beautiful dark wood trim in our house, and our cat scratched almost every doorframe and widow frame. Deep, nasty scratches. We thought we had to sand it down and re-stain everything, but I REALLY didn’t want to go through all of that. I looked for ideas on Pinterest, and someone mentioned this product. I figured I’d give it a try before we took more drastic measures. Honestly, I didn’t have very high expectations, but this stuff blew my mind! I just rubbed it on the doorframe with the most damage, and the scratches disappeared! It doesn’t fill in the scratches, but it camouflages them perfectly with the rest of the wood. You have to look very closely see them. My doorframes are beautiful again! I couldn’t be happier with this product!

Works pretty good
Using it on our hardwood. Covered the wear areas and small scratches pretty well. Happy with the product.

Still a great product
I've been using old English Dark Wood Scratch Cover for 27 years. My only complaint most recently is that it must have undergone some kind of change in formula, because it used to scratch cover better than it does now. That being said, it smells great, rubs in easily, doesn't leave a greasy residue like some polishes, and makes wood look excellent. It does scratch cover. Just not quite as well as it did many years ago.
