CoolaMineral Sport Sunscreen Moisturizer SPF 30 Citrus Mimosa for Unisex, 3 oz

I'm very fair and have a history of having pre-cancerous spots taken off of my skin, so I have to be very careful to use sunscreen on my face, neck, chest, and arms every day. A friend at work had recommended the COOLA brand, which I had never heard of, and so I looked into the brand a bit more. I've been using the DeVita line of sunscreens, but Paula Begoun recently said that the DeVita brand doesn't comply with the newest FDA ratings. Since I've been trying to use products without toxic ingredients, I searched the Environmental Working Group (EWG)'s database, and found this sunscreen. I guess that's a long story -- but I wanted to emphasize how this product came recommended, so to speak, from two sources! :-)I love the scent of this, but even if you don't, it dissipates rather quickly. I've been using this on my arms and upper chest, and the  Kiss My Face Natural Mineral Lotion Sunscreen SPF 40 with Hydresia, 3 Fluid Ounce  moisturizer on my face and neck. I love them both!The only slight downside is that the COOLA sunscreen does leave a tacky film on your skin. My arms don't feel very moisturized after I use it, but it's a trade-off I'm willing to make since it's such a low-toxicity product.I'm definitely going to be trying other COOLA products! This is the only suncream I can use besides California Baby sunscreen. . I am allergic to most. It goes on very smoothly and practically disappears when applied. Does not leave white film, and has no parabens. I love it! It is expensive.

Coola is my favorite brand if mineral sunscreen. This product smells so good and does a great job of blending in the skin as much as a mineral sunscreen can do (since those don't absorb...they simply form a protective barrier).

Was excited to try this product and liked the scent, but when rubbing in this congealed on my skin and left thready little bits of suncreen flakes all over. At first I thought it may have been because I had a face sunscreen product on my hands that changed the texture, but the same thing happened when I reapplied later with clean hands. Was at the beach with a friend who said she'd used the same product and had gotten sunburned after using it, so I ended up borrowing sunscreen for the day. Her Alba product went on considerably smoother and was much easier to use and still had natural ingredients.

I love Coola's cucumber melon product, so I thought I would give this one a try and it's just much heavier and creamier. Not bad, and I'm sure it works fine, but I'll stick with their other products!
