Two pictures shows 5 black leads another shows 5 black, 1 red, 1 white & a third shows 4 black leads & then different answers to this question???

I have ordered several strikers and they only come with black lead. The picture is misleading. I tried to order the colored leaf but had no luck. I hope this is helpful.

how hard is the lead (graphite?) in the striker? i prefer a softer lead. i do not see the usual markings: soft, medium, or hard.

Definitely on the hard side. I'm guessing it's to prevent the lead from breaking inside the pencil. If so, it's not successful. The leads break often when doing tougher work like rough framing. Probably be ok with less strenuous types of construction/remodel.

Hello, how good is this pencil on paper for drawing and sketching? can someone please confirm if it works for calligraphy too? do they have 2b leds?

We have a lot of customers who use this for drawing / sketching and calligraphy. The lead is HB hardness, so pretty standard to traditional lead #2 pencils. The width of the lead is fun to use and you can shave or sand it to create custom profiles for art of any kind.

I bought one of these and liked it, but it didn't come with extra lead. Does this one really come with extra lead?
