Superhold Styling Gel, 16 oz

Got this brand from my barber years ago and I’ve used it extensively. I’ve tried other “flashier” brands, and have always returned to this tied and tested hair gel.

Ok, fellas. I see this product is designed for and targeted to men. But really, it is like the setting gels we gals used to be able to get waaaay back when - before gels became like runny clear lotions instead of stand-up goop. Personally, I like the stand-up goop. It keeps my hair managed and in place. No more fly-away hair, blowing in my face making me want to shave my head! The scent is not so pronouncedly masculine for a woman and in any event, the scent fades quickly. So gals, ignore the guy on the label and the product name of ClubMAN. If you want something that keeps that hair in place without being stiff, if you want your hair to stay where you put, comb, or set it, Pinaud Clubman works for guys and gals.

I cam across this gell tryin to find an alternative quick fix for my hair when i got no time for pomade and i gotta say i was impressed. I bought 2 right off the bat because the price was cheap and im glad i took that chance. Gots a real good smell, a great hold and my hair stays slick all day. thinkin bout buyin more soon.

This is a great gel - I am a woman and I wear it because it works well on thick curly hair. The scent is clean, not too masculine. It holds well and rarely causes flaking or dryness. Perfect for humid days when extra hold is required. I buy it regularly, it is a must for me! I use this one for humid days and the regular in the winter.

Oh my god this thing is awesome. not sure where this brand has been hiding and why its not more popular. keeps my completely unmanagable hair in check all day. i tried to let my hair grow out for the first time and do a slick sideways look. but my hair with length just became insanely wavy and would ridiculously puffy with a bunch of other hair gels or it would need a very thick layer of gel. this just works brilliantly without the hair feeling all hard and dry. it also last a while. the second day all i ahve to do is moisten it a little bit and style it again and its ready to go. cant beat this for the price.

This holds well but it flakes like crazy. So the fact that the product says “non-flaking” is not true.

Best pomade I ever used. Lasts all day, has pleasant scent and reasonably priced.

I’m satisfied with clubman products.

Great hold

Sadly I had high hopes and expectations for this product as I have used Clubman products before and liked them. This however is not a superhold gel....in fact, I wouldn't qualify it as a "hold". Didn't work at all but I guess it may depend on hair type. Other gels purchased at pharmacies, which said superhold typically have worked for me. In this case, it was a total bust.
