Our new patio has a dip and water puddles just outside the door. Not fun with 3 dogs! Came across these tiles while looking at turf mats and liked the fact that they were up off the ground. Like others mentioned they can be tricky to put together, and I did need to use a rubber mallet, but I honestly couldn't be happier. The color and texture are fabulous. Soft on the dogs' feet, comfortable to walk on with bare feet, and it looks just like the Bermuda grass in the yard. Once the patio is covered I will definitely be purchasing more.Update May 2020: This grass has held up wonderfully! Still no patio cover which means it has been rained on, frozen, and hailed on, not to mention the 3 dogs (125lb, 120lb, and 12lb) running across and laying on it multiple times daily. Yes it's a little pricey but it is SO worth it!Update March 2022: Still going strong! We laugh and call it the charging pad. The dogs take turns laying on it in the sun. One of them also uses it as her personal dining area - she runs outside with her cookie and has to eat it on the grass. After a few Texas summers and winters it is showing a little wear, but again, more than worth the initial cost!Update March 2023: Gave up on the patio cover but the charging pad is still her favorite place to be, especially with treats! Side note, the missing strip is from the lawn man - he tried to edge it back in the beginning. 🤦‍♀️🤣

Once down, these tiles are great. They almost look like a full piece of turf given a week or two to settle. They aren't awful to install, but they also aren't super easy. I recommend having a mallet on hand for sure, carefully read the directions, and lay out the tiles iin exactly the same direction before starting. The only negative to these, which would be an easy fix for the manufacturer, is the turf does NOT have holes in it. It's just like any other turf I've seen and tends to let liquids slowly drip and seep through. That being said, it's working for us, because the plastic grate underneath does keep it from getting completely disgusting underneath (we have ours on a large wood deck that's been primed and heavily sealed. We rinse it every day, and we apply the following product once a week, which I cannot recommend enough. It is the ONLY reason the turf is a complete success for us and should honestly be sold as a kit. I've tried many deodorizing products, and this is the only one that has ever worked. This stuff is GREAT!! Looks good, easy to assemble, a little tough to cut and shape but that's a testament to the quality of the product. The only thing I can say is (and this was operator error, or my fault) is do what the directions say and lay it out before you install or start cutting. Take a look at the photo of just the edge, as you can see the joint spots are outward, this is wrong!! The correct way (had I read the directions) is the seamless edge out for a much cleaner, finished appearance. Measure your space and buy an extra box if you have to make cuts, or shape around things like a hot tub.I definitely recommend this product.
