Granite Sealer & Protector for Stone Surfaces, 18 fl oz

This sealer seems to be working well. On granite, if water beads up on surface then you are protecting it. It does leave a dull finish a couple times after using it, but does go away. We always clean with soap and water and sometimes use a towel to shine it up.

We recently moved into a new build and could see dark grey spots when leaving wet things on our granite counter tops. Treated our counters with this sealant and now no more dark wet spots! I like that it has no odor, was very easy to apply, and made our counters super shiny. We cook a lot so we are setting a reminder to test the counters in 3 months to see if we need to reapply. Very happy with this product.

We just remodeled our kitchen, and part of the project was specifically a 'pastry shelf'. My wife loves to bake, pies, cookies, biscuits, etc., and although most of the kitchen counter-tops are dark acrylic polished to just shy of gloss, the pastry shelf was a splurge and is a 3 by 4 foot piece of Carrera marble. We found a very nice remnant and had it cut to size. The finish on this nearly white stone is honed (to about 'satin') rather than polished. This is good as we have LED down-lighting over the surface and full polish would have resulted in glare and reflections that would have been hard to look into. However, the finish was not as slippery as we would have liked. The first pie dough we did wanted to cling to the stone, despite abundant flour under it, too much flour in fact as it started to make the dough overly stiff. Polished stone would have been slicker, but presented the problems noted above. I was a little skeptical regarding the sealer products I see on the web with out-sized promises about what they could do to protect stone. This Trinova product's marketing seemed less hyperbolic and more direct. I liked that.The Granite Sealer & Protector appears clear in the bottle and has virtually no odor. It sprays on wet and beaded on the stone surface, but a clean cloth was used to wipe it in thoroughly to the surface and it wetted out nicely. I put on a moderately heavy coat, rubbed it in and waited for it to dry. I was concerned it might streak as it dried, but it did not. After a couple of hours I came back with a fresh micro-fiber polishing cloth and gave the surface a rub-out, as if I was polishing the hood of a car that had paste wax on it. The surface came out great. It picked up a little bit of shine, water beads on it, it feels much 'slicker' than it did. We have not had a pie dough rolled out on it since, but I suspect it will (with a little loose flour) lift right off without sticking. The product seems to work as advertised and I am pleased with the results. My only complaint is that a smaller offering than 18oz size would have been sufficient - even applying a couple of times a year this is a lifetime supply, a 6oz squeeze bottle without the sprayer at an appropriate price would be appreciated. Also, why is under the "health and beauty" category in Amazon?

I had some doubts because these were so inexpensive. But I purchased them anyway.They came to in a package and well sealed for shipping. I used it once in my counter. And was not really impressed. In fact, it matched some of the other reviews. I'd seen.So then I decided to use it again. I have a granite countertop, and it had little tiny holes in it. But I noticed the more Coats I used on it. The less of those holes that I had seen I actually think this sealer actually works. It seems that the more you use it, the better it works. I would have liked it a little bit shinier, but I think that's happening as I use it more. UPDATE my counter tops is looking better. But I wanted it to fill these holes faster. My idea was to put it on and push it around with a squeegee. That way I would be sweeping over those tiny holes. It seems to fill the holes much better.

This product was easy to apply and worked great. My granite and marble are shiny and water now beats up as it should. Would highly recommend.

Works beautifully! Easy to apply with a cloth, no harsh chemical smell, and repels water. Spilled liquids and water doesn't seep into the granite, and we get no staining on our Dolomite countertops because of the sealer, which is a huge relief. Dolomite is a natural rock--not manufactured--but it slightly softer and slightly more porous than granite. This sealer works perfectly for protecting our investment!

I was not impressed. My granite countertops needed a good polish to bring back the shine but this wasn’t what I was hoping for. I did 2 applications and it was kinda shiny but just so so. I was hoping for a high shine. Easy to use just not that awesome

This product is amazing 🤩. I used it on my kitchen granite. I did 2 applications and my granite looks like glass. It it also smooth to the touch. The video was taken 6 days after the application. It only shows a small section of the counter, and you can see. THE SHINE. My granite is a very dark green with gold. It looks like black and show everything. Also, the water just beads by the sink. Love this product.
