These are amazing!
I have ADHD and I have struggled my entire life with staying on task to get even easy mundane things completed. These allow me to break things down into smaller chunks and I have a buddy that comes with me! Yes, I treat my cube timers like my buddies! Listen, it works. My husband asked why I didn't just set a timer on my phone, but somehow that never worked for me. These Cube timers are genius and for whatever reason, they work! I also use them to limit my down time scrolling on social media, so I don't get sucked in and lose an entire day! I use them so many different ways. Boring thing I don't want to do? Set a timer and work for a set amount of time, that way I know there's an end in sight and I'm not just stuck working forever! (instead of inevitably avoiding said task) Another boring, mundane thing? Set a timer and try to beat the clock! It's a fun game! Taking a break to read email or scroll a bit? Set a timer so I don't fall down an endless rabbit hole and lose 4 hours! It's approaching lunch time, but not quite yet and I'm working on something.... Set a timer and stick a post it on it! "Eat lunch!" (yes I forget to eat! Other ND people will get it! 😉) I digress.... Countless uses for these wonderful timers! Just purchase it already!

great for WFH
I work from home, and this handy cube helps me segment my day and not get off track. I use it to time blocks of work, DND time, break time and when my work day ends. Great for students as well!

Great timer
This timer came highly recommended to me to set organizing goals. It's unique, fun to set and it works. It's easy to get organized and accomplish less than exciting tasks just 20 minutes at a time.

Works so well, but feels so cheap.
This is a great way to set timers effortlessly. If you have ADHD, it's a great way to stay on task. If you have depression, its a great way to pace and reward yourself as you work on doing daily actives. But I hate the way it feels. And I hate the way it sounds being set down on my desk (I now use an extra mouse pad to set it on so I don't have to hear it). A thicker plastic, a higher-quality plastic, or rubberized or textured coating is needed.

old idea, new design; very helpful
A nifty little product for those of us with attention-wrangling issues and/or time management challenges. Learning how to use it and sticking to it is not hard. Will probably ordered another for my main office. Its not a new idea--setting a timer to keep one on task--but design-wise it is great; rotate the cube to start, no twisting or mashing buttons required. Outer cube is a sturdy plastic. Time will tell if the inner timing mechanism stays working.

Perfect for a cat nap...or longer
Flipping the switch and placing the desired time facing up is faster than signing into my phone and setting an alarm.

Lacks QA validation; inconsistent behavior between units
These days when you buy a mass-manufactured product you expect that pretty much every one of them is going to be effectively identical. That didn't used to be the case and a lot of it came down to consistent testing and validation. The company manufacturing these really skimped on that part. I've had 4 of these now and they all behave differently.1. Obnoxious beep tone, switch is finicky, but it functions correctly.2. Pleasant beep tone, switch is okay, beeps twice every 5 to 20 minutes while on even when not timing.3. Average beep tone, switch is okay, timer will not restart on the same time twice in a row (e.g., 10 minute timer goes off, tip it right side up to turn off; later, tip back to 10 minutes and it will beep but not start the timer)4. Obnoxious beep, switch is extremely finicky, turns off at random during timing. If you get one and it works without issues then it's fine. It does what it says. But don't do like I did and expect to buy 4 to put in different areas of the house and expect them all to behave like they should. I'll be returning a few that don't work reliably enough and trying another brand instead.

Helpful for tasks!
This is a great addition to my desk, it helps concentrate on tasks so that I can move along down my list. If I have large tasks, I can dedicate a certain amount of time and this way I can be sure to work on certain tasks daily, or at least during the week. Before this little gadget, I would just look at the clock and start working, before I knew it, hours had passed by. I could easily set a timer on my phone, but I get distracted easily if I pick up my phone. This gadget allows me to stay away from my phone, focus on my tasks, and dedicate my time to multiple projects I am working on. Great buy!
